                          PERSONAL EXPLANATION

  Mr. REICHERT. Mr. Speaker, on June 13, 2006, I missed the following 
rollcall votes:
  1. Rollcall vote No. 259, H.R. 4894: To provide for certain access to 
national crime information databases by schools and educational 
agencies for employment purposes.
  2. Rollcall vote No. 260, H. Res. 318: Supporting responsible 
fatherhood, promoting marriage, and encouraging greater involvement of 
fathers in the lives of their children, especially on Father's Day.
  Had I been present, I would have voted ``yea'' to rollcall vote No. 
259, and ``yea'' to rollcall vote No. 260.
