                        HONORING SPEAKER HASTERT

  (Mr. CANTOR asked and was given permission to address the House for 1 
minute.)
  Mr. CANTOR. Mr. Speaker, today I rise in support of you. This June, 
you will become the longest-serving Republican Speaker in history. Your 
leadership has guided our Nation through times of great tragedy and 
great joy.
  You have led our country with a selfless dedication to our Founding 
Fathers' beliefs in the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness. Our 
country, this Congress, our party, owes you a great debt, and I wanted 
to rise today to thank you for your service during this time you are 
being maligned through irresponsible leaks by an unaccountable 
bureaucrat. Thank you always for remaining above the fray.
