WHITEWATER AND THE WHITE HOUSE, SOMETHING IN COMMON
(Mr. OXLEY asked and was given permission to address the House for 1
minute and to revise and extend his remarks.)
Mr. OXLEY. Madam Speaker, the bodies keep piling up on the porch of
the White House. Yesterday, three more people were convicted in the
Arkansas savings and loan scandal that has threatened to envelop more
and more people. This is just one more example of what has happened
with the White House's mishandling of this terrible incident. Something
stinks in Arkansas, and that stench is stretching all the way to the
White House.
Whitewater and the White House, something in common staying together,
and yesterday was one more example of that fact.
