INTRODUCTION OF THE REVEREND EDWARD HEARN
(Mr. RUSH asked and was given permission to address the House for 1
minute and to revise and extend his remarks.)
Mr. RUSH. Mr. Speaker, I rise today, to welcome the Rev. Edward E.
Hearn. Reverend Hearn is the pastor at the Grace Conservative Baptist
Church of Chicago, IL, where he has served for the past 4 years.
Before coming to Grace Conservative Baptist Church, Reverend Hearn
studied law at Saint Louis University School of Law in St. Louis, MO.
He then worked as a lawyer in the areas of probate, real estate and
criminal law.
Today, while serving a thriving congregation, he also continues to
work as a lawyer, addressing issues of special importance to his
clients in inner city Chicago.
Reverend Hearn's unique background has given him a wide range of
experience in tending to the needs of both his congregation and the
greater community. He has served as a source of comfort, advice, and
inspiration to all who come into contact with him.
It is with great pleasure that I welcome him here to deliver the
opening prayer today.
