    <main style="-uslm-dtd:legis-body"><longTitle><docTitle style="-uslm-dtd:legis-type">AN ACT</docTitle><officialTitle style="-uslm-dtd:official-title">To reauthorize the Combating Autism Act of 2006.</officialTitle></longTitle><enactingFormula style="-uslm-dtd:enacting-clause">Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,</enactingFormula>
        <section style="-uslm-dtd:section" identifier="/us/sComp/112/32/s1" styleType="OLC">
            <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><editorialNote style="-uslm-dtd:usc-reference" role="uscRef"><b>[</b><ref href="/us/usc/t42/s201">42 U.S.C. 201 note</ref><b>]</b> </editorialNote><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">SHORT TITLE. </heading>
            <content style="-uslm-dtd:text" class="block">This Act may be cited as the “<shortTitle style="-uslm-dtd:quote"><inline style="-uslm-dtd:short-title">Combating Autism Reauthorization Act of 2011</inline></shortTitle>”.</content>
        </section>
        <section style="-uslm-dtd:section" identifier="/us/sComp/112/32/s2" styleType="OLC">
            <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES SURVEILLANCE AND RESEARCH PROGRAM. </heading>
            <chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text" class="block">Part R of title III of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 280i et seq.) is amended—</chapeau>
            <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/112/32/s2/1" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">(1) </num><editorialNote style="-uslm-dtd:usc-reference" role="uscRef"><b>[</b><ref href="/us/usc/t42/s280i">42 U.S.C. 280i</ref><b>]</b> </editorialNote><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">in section 399AA(e), by striking “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">2011</quotedText>” and inserting “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">2014</quotedText>”;</content>
            </paragraph>
            <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/112/32/s2/2" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">(2) </num><editorialNote style="-uslm-dtd:usc-reference" role="uscRef"><b>[</b><ref href="/us/usc/t42/s280i-1">42 U.S.C. 280i-1</ref><b>]</b> </editorialNote><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">in section 399BB(g), by striking “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">2011</quotedText>” and inserting “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">2014</quotedText>”;</content>
            </paragraph>
            <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/112/32/s2/3" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="3">(3) </num><editorialNote style="-uslm-dtd:usc-reference" role="uscRef"><b>[</b><ref href="/us/usc/t42/s280i-2">42 U.S.C. 280i-2</ref><b>]</b> </editorialNote><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">in section 399CC(f), by striking “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">2011</quotedText>” and inserting “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">2014</quotedText>”; and</content>
            </paragraph>
            <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/112/32/s2/4" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="4">(4) </num><chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text">in section 399DD—</chapeau>
                <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/112/32/s2/4/A" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="A">(A) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">in subsection (a), by striking “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">Not later than 4 years after the date of enactment of the Combating Autism Act of 2006</quotedText>” and inserting “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">Not later than 2 years after the date of enactment of the Combating Autism Reauthorization Act of 2011</quotedText>”; and</content>
                </subparagraph>
                <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/112/32/s2/4/B" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="B">(B) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">in subsection (b), in paragraphs (4) and (5), by striking “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">the 4-year period beginning on the date of enactment of this Act</quotedText>” and inserting “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">the 6-year period beginning on the date of enactment of the Combating Autism Act of 2006</quotedText>”.</content>
                </subparagraph>
            </paragraph>
        </section>
        <section style="-uslm-dtd:section" identifier="/us/sComp/112/32/s3" styleType="OLC">
            <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="3">SEC. 3. </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS. </heading>
            <content style="-uslm-dtd:text" class="block">Section 399EE of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 280i-4) is amended to read as follows:<quotedContent style="-uslm-dtd:quoted-block">
            <section style="-uslm-dtd:section" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="399EE">“SEC. 399EE. </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS </heading>
                <subsection style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="a">“(a) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Developmental Disabilities Surveillance and Research Program. </heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">To carry out section 399AA, there is authorized to be appropriated $22,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2012 through 2014.</content>
                </subsection>
                <subsection style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="b">“(b) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Autism Education, Early Detection, and Intervention. </heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">To carry out section 399BB, there is authorized to be appropriated $48,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2011 through 2014.</content>
                </subsection>
                <subsection style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="c">“(c) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee; Certain Other Programs. </heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">To carry out sections 399CC, 404H, and 409C,  there is authorized to be appropriated $161,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2011 through 2014.”</content>
