            <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="3">Sec. 3. </num><editorialNote style="-uslm-dtd:usc-reference" role="uscRef"><b>[</b><ref href="/us/usc/t30/s236a">30 U.S.C. 236a</ref><b>]</b> </editorialNote><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">That nothing in this amendatory Act shall be construed as affecting any lands within the borders of the naval petroleum reserves and naval oil-shale reserves or agreements concerning operations thereunder or in relation to the same, but the Secretary of the Navy is hereby authorized, with the consent of the President, to enter into agreements such as those provided for under the Act of March 4, 1931 (46 Stat. 1523), which agreement shall not, unless expressed therein, operate to extend the terms of any lease affected thereby.</content>
