            <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="3003">SEC. 3003. </num><editorialNote role="uscRef" style="-uslm-dtd:usc-reference"><b>[</b><ref href="/us/usc/t31/s1113">31 U.S.C. 1113 note</ref><b>]</b> </editorialNote><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">TERMINATION OF REPORTING REQUIREMENTS. </heading>
            <subsection identifier="/us/sComp/104/66/s3003/a" style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="a">(a) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Termination.—</heading>
                <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/104/66/s3003/a/1" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">(1) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">In general.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Subject to the provisions of paragraph (2) of this subsection and subsection (d), each provision of law requiring the submittal to Congress (or any committee of the Congress) of any annual, semiannual, or other regular periodic report specified on the list described under subsection (c) shall cease to be effective, with respect to that requirement, May 15, 2000.</content>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/104/66/s3003/a/2" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">(2) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Exception.—</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text">The provisions of paragraph (1) shall not apply to any report required under—</chapeau>
                    <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/104/66/s3003/a/2/A" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="A">(A) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">chapter 4 of title 5, United States Code; or</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/104/66/s3003/a/2/B" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="B">(B) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">the Chief Financial Officers Act of 1990 (Public Law 101–576), including provisions enacted by the amendments made by that Act.</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                </paragraph>
            </subsection>
            <subsection identifier="/us/sComp/104/66/s3003/b" style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="b">(b) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Identification of Wasteful Reports.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The President shall include in the first annual budget submitted pursuant to section 1105 of title 31, United States Code, after the date of enactment of this Act<ref class="footnoteRef" idref="ID4A2A1A06718E47FEBE0D314BECEAD69B" style="-uslm-dtd:footnote-ref">1</ref> a list of reports that the President has determined are unnecessary or wasteful and the reasons for such determination.</content><footnote id="ID4A2A1A06718E47FEBE0D314BECEAD69B" style="-uslm-dtd:footnote"><sup style="-uslm-dtd:superscript">1</sup><p style="-uslm-dtd:para; margin-left:1em">December 21, 1995.</p></footnote>
            </subsection>
            <subsection identifier="/us/sComp/104/66/s3003/c" style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="c">(c) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">List of Reports.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The list referred to under subsection (a) is the list prepared by the Clerk of the House of Representatives for the first session of the One Hundred Third Congress under clause 2 of rule III of the Rules of the House of Representatives (House Document No. 103–7).</content>
            </subsection>
            <subsection identifier="/us/sComp/104/66/s3003/d" style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="d">(d)<ref class="footnoteRef" idref="ID66EB3FE663944250941249CF1BCB44C5" style="-uslm-dtd:footnote-ref">2</ref> </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Specific Reports Exempted.—</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text">Subsection (a)(1) shall not apply to any report required under—</chapeau><footnote id="ID66EB3FE663944250941249CF1BCB44C5" style="-uslm-dtd:footnote"><sup style="-uslm-dtd:superscript">2</sup><p style="-uslm-dtd:para; margin-left:1em">The paragraphs that exist in subsection (d) are not shown because none pertain to reports required under any banking laws.</p></footnote>
