    <main style="-uslm-dtd:legis-body"><longTitle><docTitle style="-uslm-dtd:legis-type">AN ACT</docTitle><officialTitle style="-uslm-dtd:official-title">To provide for the standardization, consolidation, and publication of data relating to public outdoor recreational use of Federal waterways among Federal land and water management agencies, and for other purposes.</officialTitle></longTitle><enactingFormula style="-uslm-dtd:enacting-clause">Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,</enactingFormula>
        <section identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s1" style="-uslm-dtd:section" styleType="OLC">
            <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><editorialNote role="uscRef" style="-uslm-dtd:usc-reference"><b>[</b><ref href="/us/usc/t16/s6871">16 U.S.C. 6871 note</ref><b>]</b> </editorialNote><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">SHORT TITLE. </heading>
            <content class="block" style="-uslm-dtd:text">This Act may be cited as the “<shortTitle style="-uslm-dtd:quote">Modernizing Access to our Public Waters Act of 2025</shortTitle>” or the “<shortTitle style="-uslm-dtd:quote">MAPWaters Act of 2025</shortTitle>”.</content>
        </section>
        <section identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s2" role="definitions" style="-uslm-dtd:section" styleType="OLC">
            <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><editorialNote role="uscRef" style="-uslm-dtd:usc-reference"><b>[</b><ref href="/us/usc/t16/s6871">16 U.S.C. 6871</ref><b>]</b> </editorialNote><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">DEFINITIONS. </heading>
            <chapeau class="block" style="-uslm-dtd:text">In this Act:</chapeau>
            <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s2/1" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">(1) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Federal fishing restriction.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The term “<term style="-uslm-dtd:quote">Federal fishing restriction</term>” means a defined area in which all or certain fishing activities are temporarily or permanently prohibited or restricted by a Federal land or water management agency.</content>
            </paragraph>
            <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s2/2" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">(2) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Federal land or water management agency.—</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text">The term “<term style="-uslm-dtd:quote">Federal land or water management agency</term>” means—</chapeau>
                <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s2/2/A" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="A">(A) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">the Bureau of Reclamation;</content>
                </subparagraph>
                <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s2/2/B" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="B">(B) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">the National Park Service;</content>
                </subparagraph>
                <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s2/2/C" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="C">(C) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">the Bureau of Land Management;</content>
                </subparagraph>
                <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s2/2/D" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="D">(D) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">the United States Fish and Wildlife Service; and</content>
                </subparagraph>
                <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s2/2/E" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="E">(E) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">the Forest Service.</content>
                </subparagraph>
            </paragraph>
            <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s2/3" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="3">(3) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Federal waterway.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The term “<term style="-uslm-dtd:quote">Federal waterway</term>” means waters managed by 1 or more of the relevant Secretaries.</content>
            </paragraph>
            <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s2/4" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="4">(4) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Federal waterway restriction.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The term “<term style="-uslm-dtd:quote">Federal waterway restriction</term>” means a restriction on the access or use of a Federal waterway applied under applicable law by 1 or more of the Secretaries.</content>
            </paragraph>
            <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s2/5" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="5">(5) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Secretaries.—</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text">The term “<term style="-uslm-dtd:quote">Secretaries</term>” means—</chapeau>
                <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s2/5/A" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="A">(A) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">the Secretary of Agriculture, acting through the Chief of the Forest Service; and</content>
                </subparagraph>
                <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s2/5/B" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="B">(B) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">the Secretary of the Interior.</content>
                </subparagraph>
            </paragraph>
            <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s2/6" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="6">(6) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">State.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The term “<term style="-uslm-dtd:quote">State</term>” means each of the several States, the District of Columbia, and each territory of the United States.</content>
            </paragraph>
        </section>
        <section identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s3" style="-uslm-dtd:section" styleType="OLC">
            <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="3">SEC. 3. </num><editorialNote role="uscRef" style="-uslm-dtd:usc-reference"><b>[</b><ref href="/us/usc/t16/s6872">16 U.S.C. 6872</ref><b>]</b> </editorialNote><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">INTERAGENCY DATA STANDARDIZATION. </heading>
            <content class="block" style="-uslm-dtd:text">Not later than 30 months after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretaries, in coordination with the Federal Geographic Data Committee established by section 753(a) of the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018 (43 U.S.C. 2802(a)), shall jointly develop and adopt interagency standards to ensure compatibility and interoperability among applicable Federal databases with respect to the  
collection and dissemination of geospatial data relating to public outdoor recreational access of Federal waterways and Federal fishing restrictions.</content>
        </section>
        <section identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4" style="-uslm-dtd:section" styleType="OLC">
            <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="4">SEC. 4. </num><editorialNote role="uscRef" style="-uslm-dtd:usc-reference"><b>[</b><ref href="/us/usc/t16/s6873">16 U.S.C. 6873</ref><b>]</b> </editorialNote><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">DATA CONSOLIDATION AND PUBLICATION. </heading>
            <subsection identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/a" style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="a">(a) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Federal Waterway Restrictions.—</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text">Not later than 5 years after the date of enactment of this Act, each of the Secretaries, to the maximum extent practicable, shall digitize and make publicly available online, as applicable, geographic information system data that includes, with respect to Federal waterway restrictions—</chapeau>
                <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/a/1" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">(1) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">status information with respect to the conditions under which Federal waterways are open or closed to entry or watercraft, including watercraft inspection, decontamination requirements, low-elevation aircraft, or diving;</content>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/a/2" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">(2) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">the dates on which Federal waterways are seasonally closed to entry or watercraft;</content>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/a/3" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="3">(3) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">the areas of Federal waterways with restrictions on motorized propulsion, horsepower, or fuel type;</content>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/a/4" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="4">(4) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">the areas of Federal waterways with anchoring restrictions, no wake zones, exclusion zones, danger areas, or vessel speed restrictions;</content>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/a/5" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="5">(5) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Federal waterway restrictions on the direction of travel, including upstream or downstream travel; and</content>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/a/6" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="6">(6) </num><chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text">the uses, including by watercraft, that are restricted on each area of a Federal waterway, including the permissibility of—</chapeau>
                    <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/a/6/A" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="A">(A) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">canoes and other paddlecraft;</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/a/6/B" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="B">(B) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">rafts and driftboats;</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/a/6/C" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="C">(C) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">motorboats;</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/a/6/D" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="D">(D) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">personal watercraft;</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/a/6/E" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="E">(E) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">airboats;</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/a/6/F" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="F">(F) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">amphibious aircraft;</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/a/6/G" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="G">(G) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">hovercraft;</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/a/6/H" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="H">(H) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">oversnow vehicles and other motorized vehicles on frozen bodies of water;</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/a/6/I" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="I">(I) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">oceangoing ships;</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/a/6/J" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="J">(J) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">swimming; and</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/a/6/K" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="K">(K) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">other applicable recreational activities, as determined to be appropriate by the Secretaries.</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                </paragraph>
            </subsection>
            <subsection identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/b" style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="b">(b) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Federal Waterway Access and Navigation Information.—</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text">Not later than 5 years after the date of enactment of this Act, each of the Secretaries, to the maximum extent practicable, shall digitize and make publicly available online, as applicable, geographic information system data that includes, with respect to Federal waterway access and navigation information—</chapeau>
                <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/b/1" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">(1)</num><subparagraph class="inline" identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/b/1/A" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC"><num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="A">(A) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">the location of boat ramps, portages, and fishing access sites under the authority of the Federal land or water management agency; and</content></subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/b/1/B" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="B">(B) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">the identification of the dates on which the facilities and sites identified under subparagraph (A) are open or closed, as applicable; and</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/b/2" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">(2) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">bathymetric information and depth charts, as feasible.</content>
                </paragraph>
            </subsection>
            <subsection identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/c" style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="c">(c) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Federal Fishing Restrictions.—</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text">Not later than 5 years after the date of enactment of this Act, each of the Secretaries, to the maximum extent practicable, shall digitize and make publicly available online geographic information system data that describes, with respect to Federal fishing restrictions—</chapeau>
                <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/c/1" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">(1) </num><chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text">the location and geographic boundaries of Federal fishing restrictions on recreational and commercial fishing, including—</chapeau>
                    <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/c/1/A" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="A">(A) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">full or partial closures;</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/c/1/B" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="B">(B) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">no-take zones; and</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/c/1/C" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="C">(C) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Federal fishing restrictions within or surrounding marine protected areas;</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/c/2" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">(2) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Federal fishing restrictions on the use of specific types of equipment or bait; and</content>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/c/3" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="3">(3) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Federal requirements with respect to catch and release.</content>
                </paragraph>
            </subsection>
            <subsection identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/d" style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="d">(d) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Public Comment.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The Secretaries shall develop a process to allow members of the public to submit questions or comments regarding the information described in subsections (a) and (b).</content>
            </subsection>
            <subsection identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/e" style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="e">(e) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Updates.—</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text">The Secretaries, to the maximum extent practicable, shall update—</chapeau>
                <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/e/1" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">(1) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">the data described in subsections (a) and (b) not less frequently than 2 times per year; and</content>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/e/2" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">(2) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">the data described in subsection (c) in real time as changes go into effect.</content>
                </paragraph>
            </subsection>
            <subsection identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/f" style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="f">(f) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Exclusion.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">This section shall not apply to irrigation canals and flowage easements.</content>
            </subsection>
            <subsection identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s4/g" style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="g">(g) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Disclosure.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Any geographic information system data made publicly available under this section shall not disclose information regarding the nature, location, character, or ownership of historic, paleontological, or archaeological resources, consistent with applicable law.</content>
            </subsection>
        </section>
        <section identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s5" style="-uslm-dtd:section" styleType="OLC">
            <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="5">SEC. 5. </num><editorialNote role="uscRef" style="-uslm-dtd:usc-reference"><b>[</b><ref href="/us/usc/t16/s6874">16 U.S.C. 6874</ref><b>]</b> </editorialNote><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">COOPERATION AND COORDINATION. </heading>
            <subsection identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s5/a" style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="a">(a) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Community Partners and Third-party Providers.—</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text">For purposes of carrying out this Act, the Secretaries may—</chapeau>
                <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s5/a/1" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">(1) </num><chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text">coordinate and partner with non-Federal agencies and private sector and nonprofit partners, including—</chapeau>
                    <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s5/a/1/A" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="A">(A) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">State natural resource agencies;</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s5/a/1/B" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="B">(B) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Tribal natural resource agencies;</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s5/a/1/C" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="C">(C) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">technology companies;</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s5/a/1/D" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="D">(D) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">geospatial data companies; and</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s5/a/1/E" style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="E">(E) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">experts in data science, analytics, and operations research; and</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s5/a/2" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">(2) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">enter into an agreement with a third party to carry out any provision of this Act.</content>
                </paragraph>
            </subsection>
            <subsection identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s5/b" style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="b">(b) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">United States Geological Survey.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The Secretaries may work with the Director of the United States Geological Survey to collect, aggregate, digitize, standardize, and publish data on behalf of the Secretaries to meet the requirements of this Act.</content>
            </subsection>
            <subsection identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s5/c" style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="c">(c) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Requirement.—</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text">With respect to data developed and distributed under this Act, the Secretaries shall—</chapeau>
                <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s5/c/1" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">(1) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">develop the data in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Tribal laws (including regulations); and</content>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s5/c/2" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">(2) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">include a notice that any geospatial data are subject to applicable Federal, State, and Tribal laws (including regulations).</content>
                </paragraph>
            </subsection>
            <subsection identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s5/d" style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="d">(d) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Existing Efforts.—</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text">To the extent practicable, the Secretary concerned shall use or incorporate existing applicable data, maps, and resources in carrying out this Act, including data, maps, and resources developed and published under—</chapeau>
                <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s5/d/1" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">(1) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">the Modernizing Access to Our Public Land Act (16 U.S.C. 6851 et seq.);</content>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s5/d/2" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">(2) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">section 103 of division DD of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023 (43 U.S.C. 776); or</content>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s5/d/3" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="3">(3) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">other applicable law.</content>
                </paragraph>
            </subsection>
        </section>
        <section identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s6" style="-uslm-dtd:section" styleType="OLC">
            <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="6">SEC. 6. </num><editorialNote role="uscRef" style="-uslm-dtd:usc-reference"><b>[</b><ref href="/us/usc/t16/s6875">16 U.S.C. 6875</ref><b>]</b> </editorialNote><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">REPORTS. </heading>
            <chapeau class="block" style="-uslm-dtd:text">Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act and annually thereafter through March 30, 2034, the Secretaries shall submit a report that describes the progress made by the Secretaries with respect to meeting the requirements of this Act to—</chapeau>
            <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s6/1" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">(1) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">the Committee on Natural Resources of the House of Representatives;</content>
            </paragraph>
            <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s6/2" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">(2) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">the Committee on Energy and Commerce of the House of Representatives;</content>
            </paragraph>
            <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s6/3" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="3">(3) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">the Committee on Agriculture of the House of Representatives;</content>
            </paragraph>
            <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s6/4" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="4">(4) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources of the Senate; and</content>
            </paragraph>
            <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s6/5" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="5">(5) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">the Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry of the Senate.</content>
            </paragraph>

        <section identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s7" style="-uslm-dtd:section" styleType="OLC">
            <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="7">SEC. 7. </num><editorialNote role="uscRef" style="-uslm-dtd:usc-reference"><b>[</b><ref href="/us/usc/t16/s6876">16 U.S.C. 6876</ref><b>]</b> </editorialNote><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">EFFECT. </heading>
            <chapeau class="block" style="-uslm-dtd:text">Nothing in this Act—</chapeau>
            <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s7/1" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">(1) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">modifies or alters the definition of the term “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">navigable waters</quotedText>” under Federal law;</content>
            </paragraph>
            <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s7/2" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">(2) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">affects the jurisdiction or authority of State or Federal agencies to regulate navigable waters;</content>
            </paragraph>
            <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s7/3" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="3">(3) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">modifies or alters the authority or jurisdiction of Federal or State agencies to manage fisheries; or</content>
            </paragraph>
            <paragraph identifier="/us/sComp/119/62/s7/4" style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="4">(4) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">authorizes or is intended to result in a change in the accessibility of waters open to hunting, fishing, or other forms of outdoor recreation as of the date of the enactment of this Act.</content>
            </paragraph>
