    <main style="-uslm-dtd:legis-body"><longTitle><docTitle style="-uslm-dtd:legis-type">AN ACT</docTitle><officialTitle style="-uslm-dtd:official-title">To require the Secretary of the Interior to take land into trust for certain Indian tribes, and for other purposes.</officialTitle></longTitle><enactingFormula style="-uslm-dtd:enacting-clause">Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,</enactingFormula>
        <section style="-uslm-dtd:section" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s1" styleType="OLC">
            <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">SHORT TITLE. </heading>
            <content style="-uslm-dtd:text" class="block">This Act may be cited as the “<shortTitle style="-uslm-dtd:quote">Nevada Native Nations Land Act</shortTitle>”.</content>
        </section>
        <section style="-uslm-dtd:section" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s2" styleType="OLC">
            <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">DEFINITION OF SECRETARY. </heading>
            <content style="-uslm-dtd:text" class="block">In this Act, the term “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">Secretary</quotedText>” means the Secretary of the Interior.</content>
        </section>
        <section style="-uslm-dtd:section" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3" styleType="OLC">
            <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="3">SEC. 3. </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">CONVEYANCE OF LAND TO BE HELD IN TRUST FOR CERTAIN INDIAN TRIBES. </heading>
            <subsection style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/a" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="a">(a) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Conveyance of Land To Be Held in Trust for the Fort McDermitt Paiute and Shoshone Tribe.—</heading>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/a/1" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">(1) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Definition of map.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">In this subsection, the term “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">map</quotedText>” means the map entitled “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">Fort McDermitt Indian Reservation Expansion Act</quotedText>”, dated February 21, 2013, and on file and available for public inspection in the appropriate offices of the Bureau of Land Management.</content>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/a/2" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">(2) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Conveyance of land.—</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text">Subject to valid existing rights, all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the land described in paragraph (3)—</chapeau>
                    <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/a/2/A" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="A">(A) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">is held in trust by the United States for the benefit of the Fort McDermitt Paiute and Shoshone Tribe; and</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/a/2/B" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="B">(B) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">shall be part of the reservation of the Fort McDermitt Paiute and Shoshone Tribe.</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/a/3" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="3">(3) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Description of land.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The land referred to in paragraph (2) is the approximately 19,094 acres of land administered by the Bureau of Land Management as generally depicted on the map as “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">Reservation Expansion Lands</quotedText>”.</content>
                </paragraph>
            </subsection>
            <subsection style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/b" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="b">(b) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Conveyance of Land To Be Held in Trust for the Shoshone Paiute Tribes.—</heading>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/b/1" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">(1) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Definition of map.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">In this subsection, the term “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">map</quotedText>” means the map entitled “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">Mountain City Administrative Site Proposed Acquisition</quotedText>”, dated July 29, 2013, and on file and available for public inspection in the appropriate offices of the Forest Service.</content>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/b/2" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">(2) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Conveyance of land.—</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text">Subject to valid existing rights and paragraph (4), all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the land described in paragraph (3)—</chapeau>
                    <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/b/2/A" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="A">(A) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">is held in trust by the United States for the benefit of the Shoshone Paiute Tribes of the Duck Valley Indian Reservation; and</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/b/2/B" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="B">(B) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">shall be part of the reservation of the Shoshone Paiute Tribes of the Duck Valley Indian Reservation.</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/b/3" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="3">(3) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Description of land.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The land referred to in paragraph (2) is the approximately 82 acres of land administered by the Forest Service as generally depicted on the map as “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">Proposed Acquisition Site</quotedText>”.</content>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/b/4" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="4">(4) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Condition on conveyance.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The conveyance under paragraph (2) shall be subject to the reservation of an easement on the conveyed land for a road to provide access to adjacent National Forest System land for use by the Forest Service for administrative purposes.</content>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/b/5" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="5">(5) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Facilities and improvements.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The Secretary of Agriculture (acting through the Chief of the Forest Service) shall convey to the Shoshone Paiute Tribes of the Duck Valley Indian Reservation any existing facilities or improvements to the land described in paragraph (3).</content>
                </paragraph>
            </subsection>
            <subsection style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/c" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="c">(c) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Conveyance of Land To Be Held in Trust for the Summit Lake Paiute Tribe.—</heading>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/c/1" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">(1) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Definition of map.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">In this section, the term “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">map</quotedText>” means the map entitled “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">Summit Lake Indian Reservation Conveyance</quotedText>”, dated February 28, 2013, and on file and available for public inspection in the appropriate offices of the Bureau of Land Management.</content>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/c/2" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">(2) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Conveyance of land.—</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text">Subject to valid existing rights, all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the land described in paragraph (3)—</chapeau>
                    <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/c/2/A" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="A">(A) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">is held in trust by the United States for the benefit of the Summit Lake Paiute Tribe; and</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/c/2/B" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="B">(B) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">shall be part of the reservation of the Summit Lake Paiute Tribe.</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/c/3" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="3">(3) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Description of land.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The land referred to in paragraph (2) is the approximately 941 acres of land administered by the Bureau of Land Management as generally depicted on the map as “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">Reservation Conveyance Lands</quotedText>”.</content>
                </paragraph>
            </subsection>
            <subsection style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/d" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="d">(d) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Conveyance of Land To Be Held in Trust for the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony.—</heading>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/d/1" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">(1) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Definition of map.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">In this subsection, the term “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">map</quotedText>” means the map entitled “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">Reno-Sparks Indian Colony Expansion</quotedText>”, dated June 11, 2014, and on file and available for public inspection in the appropriate offices of the Bureau of Land Management.</content>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/d/2" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">(2) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Conveyance of land.—</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text">Subject to valid existing rights, all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the land described in paragraph (3)—</chapeau>
                    <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/d/2/A" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="A">(A) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">is held in trust by the United States for the benefit of the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony; and</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/d/2/B" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="B">(B) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">shall be part of the reservation of the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony.</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/d/3" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="3">(3) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Description of land.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The land referred to in paragraph (2) is the approximately 13,434 acres of land administered by the Bureau of Land Management as generally depicted on the map as “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">RSIC Amended Boundary</quotedText>”.</content>
                </paragraph>
            </subsection>
            <subsection style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/e" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="e">(e) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Conveyance of Land To Be Held in Trust for the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe.—</heading>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/e/1" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">(1) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Map.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">In this subsection, the term “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">map</quotedText>” means the map entitled “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">Pyramid Lake Indian Reservation Expansion</quotedText>”, dated April 13, 2015, and on file and available for public inspection in the appropriate offices of the Bureau of Land Management.</content>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/e/2" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">(2) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Conveyance of land.—</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text">Subject to valid existing rights, all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the land described in paragraph (3)—</chapeau>
                    <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/e/2/A" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="A">(A) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">is held in trust by the United States for the benefit of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe; and</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/e/2/B" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="B">(B) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">shall be part of the reservation of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe.</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/e/3" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="3">(3) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Description of land.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The land referred to in paragraph (2) is the approximately 6,357 acres of land administered by the Bureau of Land Management as generally depicted on the map as “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">Reservation Expansion Lands</quotedText>”.</content>
                </paragraph>
            </subsection>
            <subsection style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/f" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="f">(f) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Conveyance of Land To Be Held in Trust for the Duckwater Shoshone Tribe.—</heading>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/f/1" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">(1) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Map.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">In this subsection, the term “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">map</quotedText>” means the map entitled “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">Duckwater Reservation Expansion</quotedText>”, dated October 15, 2015, and on file and available for public inspection in the appropriate offices of the Bureau of Land Management.</content>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/f/2" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">(2) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Conveyance of land.—</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text">Subject to valid existing rights, all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the land described in paragraph (3)—</chapeau>
                    <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/f/2/A" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="A">(A) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">is held in trust by the United States for the benefit of the Duckwater Shoshone Tribe; and</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/f/2/B" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="B">(B) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">shall be part of the reservation of the Duckwater Shoshone Tribe.</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/f/3" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="3">(3) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Description of land.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The land referred to in paragraph (2) is the approximately 31,229 acres of land administered by the Bureau of Land Management as generally depicted on the map as “<quotedText style="-uslm-dtd:quote">Reservation Expansion Lands</quotedText>”.</content>
                </paragraph>
            </subsection>
            <subsection style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s3/g" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="g">(g) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Revocation of Public Land Orders.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Any public land order that withdraws any portion of land conveyed to an Indian tribe under this section shall be revoked to the extent necessary to permit the conveyance of the land.</content>
            </subsection>
        </section>
        <section style="-uslm-dtd:section" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s4" styleType="OLC">
            <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="4">SEC. 4. </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">ADMINISTRATION. </heading>
            <subsection style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s4/a" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="a">(a) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Survey.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall complete a survey of the boundary lines to establish the boundaries of the land taken into trust for each Indian tribe under section 3.</content>
            </subsection>
            <subsection style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s4/b" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="b">(b) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Use of Trust Land.—</heading>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s4/b/1" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">(1) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Gaming.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Land taken into trust under section 3 shall not be eligible, or considered to have been taken into trust, for class II gaming or class III gaming (as those terms are defined in section 4 of the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (25 U.S.C. 2703)).</content>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/232/s4/b/2" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">(2) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Thinning; landscape restoration.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">With respect to the land taken into trust under section 3, the Secretary, in consultation and coordination with the applicable Indian tribe, may carry out any fuel reduction and other landscape restoration activities, including restoration of sage grouse habitat,  on the land that is beneficial to the Indian tribe and the Bureau of Land Management.</content>
                </paragraph>
            </subsection>
