    <main style="-uslm-dtd:legis-body"><longTitle><docTitle style="-uslm-dtd:legis-type">AN ACT</docTitle><officialTitle style="-uslm-dtd:official-title">To require the Secretary of the Interior to take into trust 4 parcels of Federal land for the benefit of certain Indian Pueblos in the State of New Mexico.</officialTitle></longTitle><enactingFormula style="-uslm-dtd:enacting-clause">Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,</enactingFormula>
        <section style="-uslm-dtd:section" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s1" styleType="OLC">
            <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">SHORT TITLE. </heading>
            <content style="-uslm-dtd:text" class="block">This Act may be cited as the “<shortTitle style="-uslm-dtd:quote">Albuquerque Indian School Land Transfer Act</shortTitle>”.</content>
        </section>
        <section style="-uslm-dtd:section" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s2" styleType="OLC" role="definitions">
            <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">DEFINITIONS. </heading>
            <chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text" class="block">In this Act:</chapeau>
            <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s2/1" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">(1) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">
<inline style="-uslm-dtd:enum-in-header">19</inline> pueblos.—</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text">The term “<term style="-uslm-dtd:quote">19 Pueblos</term>” means the New Mexico Indian Pueblos of—</chapeau>
                <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s2/1/A" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="A">(A) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Acoma;</content>
                </subparagraph>
                <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s2/1/B" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="B">(B) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Cochiti;</content>
                </subparagraph>
                <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s2/1/C" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="C">(C) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Isleta;</content>
                </subparagraph>
                <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s2/1/D" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="D">(D) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Jemez;</content>
                </subparagraph>
                <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s2/1/E" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="E">(E) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Laguna;</content>
                </subparagraph>
                <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s2/1/F" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="F">(F) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Nambe;</content>
                </subparagraph>
                <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s2/1/G" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="G">(G) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Ohkay Owingeh (San Juan);</content>
                </subparagraph>
                <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s2/1/H" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="H">(H) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Picuris;</content>
                </subparagraph>
                <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s2/1/I" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="I">(I) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Pojoaque;</content>
                </subparagraph>
                <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s2/1/J" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="J">(J) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">San Felipe;</content>
                </subparagraph>

                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="K">(K) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">San Ildefonso;</content>
                </subparagraph>

                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="L">(L) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Sandia;</content>
                </subparagraph>
                <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s2/1/M" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="M">(M) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Santa Ana;</content>
                </subparagraph>
                <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s2/1/N" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="N">(N) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Santa Clara;</content>
                </subparagraph>
                <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s2/1/O" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="O">(O) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Santo Domingo;</content>
                </subparagraph>
                <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s2/1/P" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="P">(P) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Taos;</content>
                </subparagraph>
                <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s2/1/Q" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="Q">(Q) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Tesuque;</content>
                </subparagraph>
                <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s2/1/R" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="R">(R) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Zia; and</content>
                </subparagraph>
                <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s2/1/S" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="S">(S) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Zuni.</content>
                </subparagraph>
            </paragraph>
            <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s2/2" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">(2) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Map.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The term “<term style="-uslm-dtd:quote">map</term>” means the map entitled “<term style="-uslm-dtd:quote">The Town of Albuquerque Grant, Bernalillo County, within Township 10 North, Range 3 East, of the New Mexico Principal Meridian, New Mexico—Metes and Bounds Survey</term>” and dated August 12, 2011.</content>
            </paragraph>
            <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s2/3" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="3">(3) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Secretary.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The term “<term style="-uslm-dtd:quote">Secretary</term>” means Secretary of the Interior.</content>
            </paragraph>
        </section>
        <section style="-uslm-dtd:section" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s3" styleType="OLC">
            <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="3">SEC. 3. </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">LAND TAKEN INTO TRUST FOR BENEFIT OF 19 PUEBLOS. </heading>
            <subsection style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s3/a" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="a">(a) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Action by Secretary.—</heading>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s3/a/1" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">(1) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">In General.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The Secretary shall take into trust all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the    Federal land described in subsection (b) for the benefit of the 19 Pueblos immediately after the Secretary determines that the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (42 U.S.C. 4321 et seq.) have been satisfied regarding the trust acquisition of the Federal land.</content>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s3/a/2" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">(2) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Administration.—</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text">The Secretary shall—</chapeau>
                    <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s3/a/2/A" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="A">(A) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">take such action as the Secretary determines to be necessary to document the transfer under paragraph (1); and</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s3/a/2/B" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="B">(B) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">appropriately assign each applicable private and municipal utility and service right or agreement.</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                </paragraph>
            </subsection>
            <subsection style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s3/b" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="b">(b) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Description of Land.—</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text">The Federal land referred to in subsection (a)(1) is the 4 tracts of Federal land, the combined acreage of which is approximately 11.11 acres, that were historically part of the Albuquerque Indian School, more particularly described as follows:</chapeau>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s3/b/1" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">(1) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Abandoned indian school road.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The approximately 0.83 acres located in sec. 7 and sec. 8 of T. 10 N., R. 3 E., of the New Mexico Principal Meridian in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as identified on the map.</content>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s3/b/2" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">(2) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Southern part tract d.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The approximately 6.18 acres located in sec. 7 of T. 10 N., R. 3 E., of the New Mexico Principal Meridian in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as identified on the map.</content>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s3/b/3" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="3">(3) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Tract 1.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The approximately 0.41 acres located in sec. 7 of T. 10 N., R. 3 E., of the New Mexico Principal Meridian in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as identified on the map.</content>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s3/b/4" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="4">(4) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Western part tract b.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The approximately 3.69 acres located in sec. 7 of T. 10 N., R. 3 E., of the New Mexico Principal Meridian in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as identified on the map.</content>
                </paragraph>
            </subsection>
            <subsection style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s3/c" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="c">(c) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Survey.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The Secretary shall conduct a survey of the Federal land to be transferred consistent with subsection (b) and may make minor corrections to the survey and legal description of the Federal land described in subsection (b) as the Secretary determines to be necessary to correct clerical, typographical, and surveying errors.</content>
            </subsection>
            <subsection style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s3/d" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="d">(d) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Use of Land.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The Federal land taken into trust under subsection (a) shall be used for the educational, health, cultural, business, and economic development of the 19 Pueblos.</content>
            </subsection>
            <subsection style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s3/e" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="e">(e) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Limitations and Conditions.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The Federal land taken into trust under subsection (a) shall remain subject to any private or municipal encumbrance, right-of-way, restriction, easement of record, or utility service agreement in effect on the date of enactment of this Act.</content>
            </subsection>
            <subsection style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s3/f" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="f">(f) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Bureau of Indian Affairs Use.—</heading>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s3/f/1" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="1">(1) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">In general.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">The 19 Pueblos shall allow the Bureau of Indian Affairs to continue to use the land taken into trust under subsection (a) for the facilities and purposes as in existence on the date of enactment of this Act, in accordance with paragraph (2).</content>
                </paragraph>
                <paragraph style="-uslm-dtd:paragraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s3/f/2" styleType="OLC">
                    <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="2">(2) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Requirements.—</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-dtd:text">The use by the Bureau of Indian Affairs under paragraph (1) shall—</chapeau>
                    <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s3/f/2/A" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="A">(A) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">be free of any rental charge; and</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                    <subparagraph style="-uslm-dtd:subparagraph" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s3/f/2/B" styleType="OLC">
                        <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="B">(B) </num><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">continue until such time as the Secretary determines there is no further need for the existing Bureau of Indian Affairs facilities.</content>
                    </subparagraph>
                </paragraph>
            </subsection>
        </section>
        <section style="-uslm-dtd:section" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s4" styleType="OLC">
            <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="4">SEC. 4. </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">EFFECT OF OTHER LAWS. </heading>
            <subsection style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s4/a" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="a">(a) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">In general.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">Subject to subsection (b), Federal land taken into trust under section 3(a) shall be subject to Federal laws relating to Indian land.</content>
            </subsection>
            <subsection style="-uslm-dtd:subsection" identifier="/us/sComp/114/69/s4/b" styleType="OLC">
                <num style="-uslm-dtd:enum" value="b">(b) </num><heading style="-uslm-dtd:header">Gaming.—</heading><content style="-uslm-dtd:text">No class I gaming, class II gaming, or class III gaming (as defined in section 4 of the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (25 U.S.C. 2703)) shall be carried out on the Federal land taken into trust under section 3(a).</content>
            </subsection>
        </section>
