February 17, 2012.--Referred to the Committee on the Whole House on the
State of the Union and ordered to be printed
                 Executive Office of the President,
                           Office of Management and Budget,
                                  Washington, DC, January 18, 2012.
Hon. John A. Boehner,
Speaker of the House of Representatives,
Washington, DC.
Dear Mr. Speaker: Enclosed please find the OMB Final
Sequestration Report to the President and Congress for Fiscal
Year 2012. It has been prepared pursuant to section 254 of the
Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as
amended.
As required by law, the report provides current estimates
of the discretionary spending limits for each category in the
Budget Control Act of 2011 (Public Law 112-25), the status of
OMB scoring of the enacted 2012 discretionary appropriations
bills compared to those limits, and comparisons with the
estimates provided by the Director of the Congressional Budget
Office in his report.
Based on the estimates in this report, enacted
appropriations are within the discretionary spending limits for
2012 and a sequestration of discretionary budget authority is
not required.
            Sincerely,
                                              Jacob J. Lew,
                                                          Director.
    Enclosure.

Identical Letter Sent to The Honorable Joseph R. Biden.
