    PAT TOOMEY, Republican, of Zionsville, PA; born in East Providence, 
RI, November 17, 1961; education: graduated as valedictorian from La 
Salle Academy in 1980; B.A., political science, cum laude, Harvard 
University, Cambridge, MA, 1984; professional: worked for Chemical Bank 
and Morgan Grenfell in New York City; has deep experience in the 
financial services sector, culminating with building a community bank 
from the ground up; founded several restaurants in Allentown, PA, with 
his two brothers, Steve and Michael Toomey, 1990-97; member of the 
Allentown Government Study Commission, 1994; elected to the U.S. House 
of Representatives in 1998, winning two reelections, 2000-02; president, 
Club for Growth, 2005; co-chairman of the Board of Directors of Team 
Capital Bank, 2005-09; married: Kris Duncan, 1997; children: Bridget, 
Patrick, and Duncan; committees: Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs; 
Budget; Finance; elected to the U.S. Senate on November 2, 2010; 
reelected to the U.S. Senate on November 8, 2016.
