financial services sector, culminating with building a community bank 
from the ground up; founded several restaurants in Allentown, PA, with 
his two brothers, Steve and Michael Toomey, 1990-97; married: Kris 
Duncan, 1997; children: Bridget, Patrick, and Duncan; member of the 
Allentown Government Study Commission, 1994; elected to the U.S. House 
of Representatives in 1998, winning two reelections, 2000-02; president, 
Club for Growth, 2005; co-chairman of the Board of Directors of Team 
Capital Bank, 2005-09; committees: Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs;
