1.--Ordered, That on Monday, October 6, 2025, upon the conclusion of
Morning Business, the Senate resume consideration of S. 2296, an
original bill to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2026 for
military activities of the Department of Defense, for military
construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to
prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for
other purposes. (Oct. 3, 2025.)
S. 2806 (ORDER NO. 161)
2.--Ordered, That with respect to the motion to invoke cloture on
the motion to proceed to S. 2806, a bill to provide for automatic
continuing appropriations, the mandatory quorum call under Rule XXII be
waived. (Sept. 29, 2025.)

3.--Ordered, That notwithstanding Rule XXII, at a time to be
determined by the Majority Leader, following consultation with the
Democratic Leader, and no later than Friday, October 10, 2025, S.J. Res.
71, a joint resolution terminating the national emergency declared with
respect to energy, be discharged from the Committee on Energy and
Natural Resources, and the Senate proceed to its consideration;
provided, that there be six hours for debate only, with the time equally
divided between the Leaders or their designees; provided further, that
following the use or yielding back of that time, the joint resolution be
read a third time, and the Senate vote on passage of the resolution.
