UNANIMOUS CONSENT AGREEMENTS
S. 2882, H.R. 5371
1.--Ordered, That at a time to be determined by the Majority Leader
in consultation with the Democratic Leader, should the Senate receive
from the House of Representatives H.R. 5371, a bill making continuing
appropriations and extensions for fiscal year 2026, and for other
purposes, the Senate proceed to the immediate consideration of S. 2882,
a bill making continuing appropriations for the fiscal year ending
September 30, 2026 and for other purposes; provided, that the bill be
considered read a third time, and the Senate vote on passage of S. 2882;
provided further, that if S. 2882 fails of passage, the Senate proceed
to the immediate consideration of H.R. 5371, that the bill be considered
read a third time, and the Senate vote on passage of H.R. 5371; further,
that there be 60 affirmative votes required for passage of both S. 2882
and H.R. 5371, and with no amendments or motions in order to the bills
prior to the votes on passage. (Sept. 18, 2025.)
S.J. Res. 71
2.--Ordered, That notwithstanding Rule XXII, at a time to be
determined by the Majority Leader, following consultation with the
Democratic Leader, and no later than Friday, October 10, 2025, S.J. Res.
71, a joint resolution terminating the national emergency declared with
respect to energy, be discharged from the Committee on Energy and
Natural Resources, and the Senate proceed to its consideration;
provided, that there be six hours for debate only, with the time equally
divided between the Leaders or their designees; provided further, that
following the use or yielding back of that time, the joint resolution be
read a third time, and the Senate vote on passage of the resolution.
