UNANIMOUS CONSENT AGREEMENTS
S. 870 (ORDER NO. 28)
1.--Ordered, That on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, upon the conclusion
of Morning Business, the Senate resume consideration of S. 870, a bill
to amend the Federal Fire Prevention and Control Act of 1974 to
authorize appropriations for the United States Fire Administration and
firefighter assistance grant programs; provided, that only the following
amendments be in order to the bill:
Scott (of Florida) Amdt. No. 81
Hagerty Amdt. No. 72, as modified
Van Hollen Amdt. No. 85
Sullivan Amdt. No. 83
Paul Amdt. No. 79.
Ordered further, that at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19, the
Senate vote on the Paul and Hagerty amendments, if offered, and that at
a time to be determined by the Majority Leader, following consultation
with the Republican Leader, the Senate vote in relation to the remaining
amendments listed, if offered; provided, that following disposition of
the above amendments, Amdt. No. 58, offered by the Senator from New York
(Mr. Schumer), be withdrawn; provided further, that the bill, as
amended, if amended, be considered read a third time and the Senate vote
on passage of the bill; further, that 60 affirmative votes be required
for passage of the bill and the adoption of the amendments, with the
exception of the Sullivan and Paul amendments, that there be two minutes
for debate equally divided between the two Leaders or their designees
prior to each vote, all without intervening action or debate. (April 18,
2023.)
S.J. RES. 10 (ORDER NO. 35)
2.--Ordered, That on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, upon disposition of
Hagerty Amdt. No. 72, the Senator for Alambama (Mr. Tuberville) or his
designee be recornized to make a motion to proceed to Calendar No. 35,
S.J. Res. 10, a joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval
under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by
the Department of Veterans Affairs relationg to ``Reproductive Health
Services''; provided, that the time until 4:15 p.m. be equally divided
between the two Leaders or their designees, with the final 15 minutes
equally divided in the same form; provided further, that the time during
the recess of the Senate scheduled from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. be
counted equally to both sides. (April 18, 2023).
