1.--Ordered, That following Leader Remarks on Tuesday, February 5,
2019, the Senate resume consideration of S. 1, an Act to make
improvements to certain defense and security assistance provisions and
to authorize the appropriation of funds to Israel, to reauthorize the
United States-Jordan Defense Cooperation Act of 2015, and to halt the
wholesale slaughter of the Syrian people, and for other purposes;
provided, that notwithstanding the provisions of Rule XXII, the filing
deadline for first degree amendments be 4:00 p.m. on Monday, February 4;
provided further, that all time during recess, adjournment, Morning
Business, and Leader Remarks count post-cloture; further, that
notwithstanding the provisions of Rule XXII, all time post-cloture be
considered expired at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2019. (Jan. 31,
Feb. 4, 2019.)
S. 47 (ORDER NO. 7)
2.--Ordered, That with respect to the motion to invoke cloture on
the motion to proceed to S. 47, a bill to provide for the management of
the natural resources of the United States, and for other purposes, the
mandatory quorum call under Rule XXII be waived; provided, that the
cloture motion ripen at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, February 4, 2019. (Jan. 31,
