1.--Ordered, That at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, the
Rules Committee be discharged from further consideration of and the
Senate proceed to the consideration of H.R. 4511, the Gold Star Families
Voices Act; provided, that there be 30 minutes of debate, equally
divided in the usual form; provided further, that following the use or
yielding back of time, the bill be read a third time and the Senate vote
on passage with no intervening action or debate. (Sept. 28, 2016.)
H.R. 2578 (ORDER NO. 120)
2.--Ordered, That with respect to the motion to invoke cloture on
Amdt. No. 4787, offered by the Senator from Kentucky (Mr. McConnell) for
the Senator from Arizona (Mr. McCain), to H.R. 2578, an Act making
appropriations for the Departments of Commerce and Justice, Science, and
Related Agencies for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2016, and for
other purposes, the mandatory quorum under Rule XXII be waived; provided
further, that the filing deadline under Rule XXII be at 2:30 p.m. on
