VETO MESSAGE ON S.J. RES. 22
1.--Ordered, That following Leader remarks on Thursday, January 21,
2016, the Senate resume consideration of the veto message on S.J. Res.
22, a joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval under
chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the
Corps of Engineers and the Environmental Protection Agency relating to
the definition of ``waters of the United States'' under the Federal
Water Pollution Control Act; provided, that the time until 10:30 a.m. be
equally divided between the two Leaders or their designees; provided
further, that, notwithstanding Rule XXII, at 10:30 a.m., the Senate vote
on the motion to invoke cloture; further, that if cloture is not
invoked, the veto message be indefinitely postponed; provided further,
that with respect to the cloture motion, the mandatory quorum under Rule
XXII be waived. (Jan. 20, 2016.)

2.--Ordered, That with respect to the cloture motion on the motion
to proceed to H.R. 2685, an act making appropriations for the Department
of Defense for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2016, and for other
purposes, the mandatory quorum under Rule XXII be waived. (Nov. 3,

3.--Ordered, That with respect to the motion to invoke cloture on
the motion to proceed to S. 1881, a bill to prohibit Federal funding of
Planned Parenthood Federation of America, the mandatory quorum under
Rule XXII be waived. (Aug. 3, 2015.)

4.--Ordered, That with respect to the motion to invoke cloture on
the motion to proceed to S. 1357, a bill to extend authority relating to
roving surveillance, access to business records, and individual
terrorists as agents of foreign powers under the Foreign Intelligence
Surveillance Act of 1978 until July 31, 2015, and for other purposes,
the mandatory quorum under Rule XXII be waived. (May 23, 2015.)
