UNANIMOUS CONSENT AGREEMENTS
S. 388 (ORDER NO. 18)
1.--Ordered, That upon the conclusion of Morning Business on
Thursday, February 28, 2013, the Senate resume consideration of the
motion to proceed to S. 388, a bill to appropriately limit
sequestration, to eliminate tax loopholes, and for other purposes;
provided, that if cloture is not invoked on the motion to proceed to S.
16, the motion to proceed to S. 16 be withdrawn and the Senate vote on
the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to S. 388;
provided further, that if cloture is invoked on the motion to proceed to
S. 16, the motion be agreed to and the Senate resume consideration of
the motion to proceed to S. 388 and vote on the motion to invoke cloture
on the motion to proceed to S. 388; further, that if cloture is invoked
on the motion to proceed to S. 388, the motion to proceed to S. 388 be
agreed to; further, that if the motion to proceed to S. 16 was
previously agreed to, then upon the disposition of S. 16, the Senate
resume consideration of S. 388 if the motion to proceed to that measure
was previously agreed to.
Ordered further, That with respect to the cloture motion filed on
the motion to proceed, the mandatory quorum required under Rule XXII be
waived. (Feb. 26, 27, 2013.)
S. 16 (ORDER NO. 19)
2.--Ordered, That on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at a time to be
determined by the Majority Leader after consultation with the Republican
Leader, the Senate proceed to vote on the motion to invoke cloture on
the motion to proceed to S. 16, a bill to provide for sequester
replacement; provided, that if cloture is not invoked, the motion to
proceed be withdrawn; provided further, that if cloture is invoked on
the motion to proceed to S. 16, the motion to proceed be agreed to and
the Senate resume consideration of the motion to proceed to S. 388;
further, that if cloture is invoked on the motion to proceed to S. 388,
then the motion to proceed to S. 388 be agreed to; further, that if the
motion to proceed to S. 16 was previously agreed to, then upon
disposition of S. 16, the Senate resume consideration of S. 388 if the
motion to proceed to that measure was previously agreed to. (Feb. 27,
