UNANIMOUS CONSENT AGREEMENTS
S. 940 (ORDER NO. 42)
1.--Ordered, That at 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, the
Majority Leader be recognized to move to proceed to the consideration of
S. 940, a bill to reduce the Federal budget deficit by closing big oil
tax loopholes, and for other purposes; provided, that there be up to
four hours of debate, with the time equally divided and controlled
between the two Leaders or their designees, prior to a vote on the
motion to proceed to S. 940; provided further, that the vote on the
motion to proceed be subject to a 60 vote threshold and that the motion
to reconsider be considered made and laid upon the table without
intervening action and debate.
Ordered further, That if the motion to proceed does not achieve 60
affirmative votes, the motion be withdrawn. (May 16, 2011.)
S. 953 (ORDER NO. 43)
2.--Ordered, That at 2:15 p.m. on May 17, 2011, the Majority Leader
be recognized to move to proceed to S. 953, a bill to authorize the
conduct of certain lease sales in the Outer Continental Shelf, to amend
the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act to modify the requirements for
exploration, and for other purposes; provided, that at 10:30 a.m. on
Wednesday, May 18, 2011, the Senate resume consideration of the motion
to proceed to S. 953, that there be up to four hours of debate, equally
divided and controlled between the two Leaders or their designees, prior
to a vote on the motion to proceed to the bill; provided further, that
the vote on the motion to proceed be subject to a 60 vote threshold;
provided further, that the motion to reconsider be considered made and
laid upon the table without intervening action or debate.
