                      UNANIMOUS CONSENT AGREEMENTS

                         S. 1315 (ORDER NO. 336)

    1.--Ordered, That upon the conclusion of Morning Business on 
Thursday, April 24, 2008, the Senate resume consideration of S. 1315, a 
bill to amend Title 38, United States Code, to enhance life insurance 
benefits for disabled veterans, and for other purposes; provided, that 
the only amendment in order, other than the committee-reported 
substitute, title amendment and a managers' technical amendment, be 
Amdt. No. 4572 offered by the Senator from North Carolina (Mr. Burr); 
provided further, that there be 60 minutes of debate on the amendment, 
equally divided and controlled in the usual form, and that upon the use 
or yielding back of time, the Senate proceed to vote in relation to the 
amendment.
    Ordered further, That upon disposition of Amdt. No. 4572, and a 
managers' technical amendment if cleared, the substitute amendment, as 
amended, if amended, be agreed to, the bill, as amended, be read a third 
time, and the Senate proceed to vote on passage of the bill; provided, 
that upon passage of the bill, the title amendment be agreed to and the 
motion to reconsider be considered made and laid upon the table. (Apr. 
23, 2008.)

                        H.R. 493 (ORDER NO. 125)

    2.--Ordered, That upon passage of S. 1315, the Senate proceed to the 
consideration of H.R. 493, a bill to prohibit discrimination on the 
basis of genetic information with respect to health insurance and 
employment; provided, that when the bill is considered, the only 
amendment in order be a substitute amendment offered by the Senator from 
Maine (Ms. Snowe), the Senator from Massachusetts (Mr. Kennedy) and the 
Senator from Wyoming (Mr. Enzi.)
    Ordered further, That there be a total of two hours of debate for 
the bill and substitute amendment, with the time equally divided and 
controlled between the Leaders or their designees; provided, that upon 
the use or yielding back of all time, the substitute amendment be agreed 
to, the bill, as amended, be read a third time, and the Senate proceed 
to vote on passage of the bill. (Apr. 23, 2008.)

                                 S. 1974

    3.--Ordered, That S. 1974, a bill to make technical corrections 
related to the Pension Protection Act of 2006, remain at the desk. (Mar. 
31, 2008.)

    4.--Ordered, That the veto message on S. 5, the Stem Cell Research 
Enhancement Act of 2007, be considered as read and that it be printed in 
the Record and spread in full upon the Journal.

    5.--Ordered, That if the Senate receives from the House a message on 
H.R. 3997, an act to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide 
earnings assistance and tax relief to members of the uniformed services, 
volunteer firefighters, and Peace Corps volunteers, and for other 
purposes, with an amendment that is not germane to the Senate amendment 
or the underlying bill, that the bill and its amendments be referred to
