UNANIMOUS CONSENT AGREEMENT
H.R. 1591 (ORDER NO. 84)
Ordered, That at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2007, the Senate
resume consideration of H.R. 1591, an Act making emergency supplemental
appropriations for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2007, and for
other purposes.
Ordered further, That when the Senate resumes consideration of the
measure on Thursday, March 29, 2007, all time post cloture be considered
to have expired; provided further, that the only amendments in order be
the following and that they not be subject to second degree amendments:
Amdt. No. 752 offered by the Senator from Nevada (Mr. Ensign),
to be modified
Amdt. No. 704 offered by the Senator from South Carolina (Mr.
DeMint)
Amdt. No. 649 offered by the Senator from Oklahoma (Mr. Coburn)
Amdt. No. 737 offered by the Senator from Vermont (Mr. Sanders),
to be modified
Amdt. No. 739 offered by the Senator from Delaware (Mr. Biden).
Ordered further, That Amdt. No. 823 offered by the Senator from
Nevada (Mr. Reid) be withdrawn, and that Amdt. No. 690 offered by the
Senator from Indiana (Mr. Lugar) be agreed to; provided that all other
pending amendments be withdrawn; and provided further that a managers'
amendment be in order provided it has been cleared by the Managers and
the two Leaders.
Ordered further, That there be four minutes of debate equally
divided and controlled in the usual form prior to each vote, and that
the votes occur in the above order.
Ordered further, That upon disposition of the amendments, the
measure be read a third time, and the Senate proceed to vote on passage
of the measure. (Mar. 28, 2007.)
