Providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration relating to “Rescinding the Definition of ‘Harm’ Under the Endangered Species Act”.
Mr. Schiff (for himself and Mr. Whitehouse) introduced the following joint resolution; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Environment and Public Works
Providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration relating to “Rescinding the Definition of ‘Harm’ Under the Endangered Species Act”.
Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That Congress disapproves the rule submitted by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration relating to “Rescinding the Definition of ‘Harm’ Under the Endangered Species Act” (91 Fed. Reg. 43300 (July 14, 2026)), and such rule shall have no force or effect.
