Short title

This Act may be cited as the LNG Export Security Act.

Definition of the term public interest under the Natural Gas Act

Section 2 of the Natural Gas Act (15 U.S.C. 717a) is amended by adding at the end the following:(12)Public interest means the consideration of—(A)the development of—(i)natural gas facilities in the United States; and (ii)the domestic natural gas supply;(B)domestic economic interests; and (C)national security interests..
