 officers, and for other purposes.</official-title></form><legis-body><section id="S1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Blocking Leaks Undermining Enforcement Act</short-title></quote> or the <quote><short-title>BLUE Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id891a4212452349b09dfe352f57cbfe9d"><enum>2.</enum><header>Prohibition on sharing of certain information</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 119 of title 18, United States Code, is amended—</text><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id4ae49ce080664b3e977b24ab07908b1f"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subsection (a)—</text><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ida47b108811ec4a1f95aafe815a698f1f"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in paragraph (1), by striking <quote>or</quote> at the end;</text></subparagraph><subparagraph id="id99697d0f78764cfca71c74414988bc8b"><enum>(B)</enum><text>in paragraph (2), by striking the comma at the end and inserting <quote>; or</quote>; and</text></subparagraph><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id62adf74440044dd0a9f4ef71d1e8da75"><enum>(C)</enum><text>by inserting after paragraph (2) the following:</text><quoted-block style="OLC" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idf63ca7bcfaee43868a7075ad6c47b03b"><paragraph id="ided65c40bb3724eb694dcb183bbebf56d"><enum>(3)</enum><text>in the case of a covered person who is a Federal law enforcement officer, with the intent to physically obstruct, impede, interfere with, or retaliate against, or to aid another in physically obstructing, impeding, interfering with, or retaliating against, any lawful duty, investigation, operation, or official proceeding of the United States involving such officer,</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>; and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id853caf536eca496c9f925344029f9d3e"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subsection (b)—</text><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id9e8ba1c8f17d4c6f9d6ac31398cd1276"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in paragraph (1), by inserting <quote>, and, with respect to a Federal law enforcement officer, any physical location at which such officer is or is reasonably expected to be present (whether on or off duty)</quote> after <quote>that individual</quote>; and</text></subparagraph><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id16ee99848ee445ec9876f558ccd6dba5"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by amending paragraph (4) to read as follows:</text><quoted-block style="OLC" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id40d2e251287f4dd0967109c1ed318345"><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id19041bc4350146beb2222f577002ce89"><enum>(4)</enum><text>the terms <quote>Federal law enforcement officer</quote> and <quote>immediate family</quote> have the meanings given the terms in section 115.</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subparagraph></paragraph></section></legis-body></bill>
