<distribution-code display="yes">II</distribution-code><calendar>Calendar No. 368</calendar><congress>119th CONGRESS</congress><session>2d Session</session><legis-num>S. 4277</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES</current-chamber><action><action-date date="20260327" legis-day="20260326">March 27 (legislative day, March 26), 2026</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="S420">Mr. Schmitt</sponsor> (for himself, <cosponsor name-id="S399">Mr. Hawley</cosponsor>, and <cosponsor name-id="S434">Mr. Moreno</cosponsor>) introduced the following bill; which was read the first time</action-desc></action><action><action-date date="20260402">April 2, 2026</action-date><action-desc>Read the second time and placed on the calendar</action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title>To make appropriations for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.</official-title></form><legis-body><section id="S1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>10 Years of ICE Funding Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ida1506e30649d42188da94f0495af3275"><enum>2.</enum><header>U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement</header><subsection id="id5f18652fd7f84455b6ae164b999ff6d0"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Operations and support</header><text>For necessary expenses of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for operations and support, including for the purchase and lease of up to 3,790 police-type vehicles (of which 2,350 vehicles shall be replacement vehicles only), for overseas vetted units, and for maintenance, minor construction, and minor leasehold improvements at owned and leased facilities, $100,363,620,000.</text></subsection><subsection id="ide439a79fd128495dbbbf51ef9a8abf07"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Procurement, construction, and improvements</header><text>For necessary expenses of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for procurement, construction, and improvements, including acquisition of necessary additional real property and facilities, construction and ongoing maintenance, facility improvements, equipment, and related expenses, $5,000,000,000.</text></subsection><subsection id="idb26f0a8acdd041c58f55e92e194b8945"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Availability</header><text>Amounts appropriated under subsections (a) and (b) shall remain available until September 30, 2036.</text></subsection><subsection id="idaf20b03962b94422933e57838e80dc96"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Rule of construction</header><text>Amounts appropriated under subsections (a) and (b) shall remain available for obligation notwithstanding section 501 of the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, 2026, or any other provision of law limiting the period of availability of such amounts.</text></subsection></section></legis-body><endorsement><action-date>April 2, 2026</action-date><action-desc>Read the second time and placed on the calendar</action-desc></endorsement></bill>
