Chávez National Monument in the State of California, and for other purposes.</official-title></form><legis-body><section id="S1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>No Funding to Honor Crime Scenes Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id838d2330420e4ddf9f0b99cb11f6cbc3"><enum>2.</enum><header>Abolishment and defunding of César E. Chávez National Monument</header><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idaa6861f8b8ce4fb8b2f6185f5836ebed"> <enum>(a)</enum> <header>Abolishment</header> <text>The César E. Chávez National Monument established in the State of California by Presidential Proclamation 8884, as issued on October 8, 2012 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/54/320301">54 U.S.C. 320301</external-xref> note) (referred to in this section as the <quote>César E. Chávez National Monument</quote>), is abolished.</text>
 </subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id01f521fa97a840e7a9a2086659dec37e"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Defunding; transfer</header><text>On the abolishment of the César E. Chávez National Monument under subsection (a), any unobligated amounts previously appropriated or otherwise made available for the César E. Chávez National Monument—</text><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id94c58212da15474a838dc5b3078063d1"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">may not be used by the Secretary of the Interior to support the operation or maintenance of the César E. Chávez National Monument, except to conduct necessary actions to carry out that subsection; and</text></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id7777c408e5c64bf486c5514238fe6791"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">shall be transferred and made available to carry out section 2 of the DNA Analysis Backlog Elimination Act of 2000 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/34/40701">34 U.S.C. 40701</external-xref>).</text></paragraph></subsection></section></legis-body></bill>
