<section section-type="section-one" id="idc83f2cfe379e447ab60049994a511a28"><enum>1.</enum><header>Limitations for antibribery offenses</header>
<subsection id="ide1301c84555548439750297bb0860087"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Notwithstanding section 3282(a) of title 18, United States Code, no person shall be prosecuted, tried, or punished for any offense under section 30A of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/78dd-1">15 U.S.C. 78dd–1</external-xref>) or section 104 or 104A of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/78dd-2">15 U.S.C. 78dd–2</external-xref>, 78dd–3) unless the indictment is found or the information is instituted within 10 years next after such offense shall have been committed.</text></subsection> <subsection id="id3d5e0d608a2f44ee8b8b2ed8ad95ee98"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Applicability</header><text>Subsection (a) shall not apply to any offense committed during the period ending on the date that is 5 years before the date of enactment of this Act.</text></subsection>
