To amend title 38, United States Code, to modify the Department of Veterans Affairs procurement hierarchy of small business preferences, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
This Act may be cited as the “Veterans Affairs Opportunity for Small Businesses Act of 2026”.
SEC. 2. Modification of Department of Veterans Affairs procurement hierarchy of small business preferences.
Section 8127(h) of title 38, United States Code, is amended—
(1) by striking paragraph (3);
(2) by redesignating paragraph (4) as paragraph (3); and
(3) in paragraph (3), as redesignated by paragraph (2), by inserting “established under the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 631 et seq.)” before the period at the end.
