A BILL
To prohibit the Secretary of Agriculture from implementing a Forest
Service rule relating to criminal prohibitions, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Community Law Enforcement Authority
Restoration Act of 2025'' or the ``CLEAR Act of 2025''.
SEC. 2. INVALIDING FOREST SERVICE RULE RELATING TO CRIMINAL
PROHIBITIONS.
(a) In General.--The rule of the Forest Service entitled ``Law
Enforcement; Criminal Prohibitions'' (89 Fed. Reg. 92808 (November 25,
2024)) shall have no force or effect.
(b) Implementation.--The Secretary of Agriculture shall not
administer, implement, or enforce the rule described in subsection (a)
or any substantially similar rule.
