A BILL

To repeal section 213 of division C of the Continuing Appropriations, Agriculture, Legislative Branch, Military Construction and Veterans Affairs, and Extensions Act, 2026.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the “Anti-Cash Grab Act”.

SEC. 2. Repeal.

(a) In general.—Section 213 of division C of the Continuing Appropriations, Agriculture, Legislative Branch, Military Construction and Veterans Affairs, and Extensions Act, 2026 (Public Law 119–37) is repealed, and section 10 of the Legislative Branch Appropriations Act, 2005 (2 U.S.C. 6628) is restored as if such section 213 had not been enacted.

(b) Effective date.—The amendment made by subsection (a) shall take effect as if included in the enactment of division C of the Continuing Appropriations, Agriculture, Legislative Branch, Military Construction and Veterans Affairs, and Extensions Act, 2026 (Public Law 119–37).
