and</text></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id7a2d1fb736ce49f4b7bc29cce6f8eedd"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subparagraph (D), by inserting <quote>Tribal,</quote> after <quote>local,</quote>.</text></paragraph></subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ida5a8a9068aef48bc8af0ed2575c36c2b"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Presidential Threat Protection Act of 2000</header><text>Section 6 of the Presidential Threat Protection Act of 2000 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/34/41503">34 U.S.C. 41503</external-xref>) is amended—</text><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id8c9f496bf03046bbb5d218436d322946"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subsection (a)—</text><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idc73cd87182614a8d9aeddbab2cea8373"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by inserting <quote>and Indian Tribes</quote> after <quote>components</quote>; and</text></subparagraph><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id5fe59902c1c0435893c00a9941025019"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by striking <quote>and local</quote> and inserting <quote>local, and Tribal</quote>; and</text></subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="id0b77dbafa9f44f1f8d42013648970e18"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subsection (c), by striking <quote>Federal or State law</quote> and inserting <quote>Federal, State, or Tribal law</quote>.</text></paragraph></subsection></section></legis-body><legis-body display-enacting-clause="no-display-enacting-clause"><section section-type="section-one" id="id55753ea6-ac12-403b-9c46-bb8ee82a9bf9" changed="added" reported-display-style="italic" committee-id="SSJU00"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Tribal Warrant Fairness Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idf3759eae472640738e337954dee3e87b" changed="added" reported-display-style="italic" committee-id="SSJU00"><enum>2.</enum><header>Definition</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">In this Act, the term <term>Indian Tribe</term> means any Indian or Alaska Native tribe, band, nation, pueblo, village, community, component band, or component reservation individually identified (including parenthetically) on the most recent list published by the Secretary of the Interior under section 104 of the Federally Recognized Indian Tribe List Act of 1994 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/25/5131">25 U.S.C. 5131</external-xref>).</text></section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idc1966113-22a7-4d82-a77a-95a41159fc63" changed="added" reported-display-style="italic" committee-id="SSJU00"><enum>3.</enum><header>Amendments</header><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idc053b984-9a29-4b6a-bd0f-b23a536ef7f3"><enum>(a)</enum><header>U.S. Marshals Service</header><text>Section 566(e)(1) of title 28, United States Code, is amended—</text><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ida14a028b-c21a-462a-8c0d-a6deb7377792"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subparagraph (B), by inserting <quote>including Tribal fugitive matters (on the request of an Indian Tribe, as defined in section 2 of the <short-title>Tribal Warrant Fairness Act</short-title>, as applicable),</quote> after <quote>matters,</quote>;
