committee-id="SSEG00"><enum>2.</enum><header>Definitions</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">In this Act:</text><paragraph id="idd7dadb577d9a417da17592d576583427"><enum>(1)</enum><header>City</header><text>The term <quote>City</quote> means the city of Price, Utah.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="HBAA96BACCE6F4DD186B30741F68FC1E9"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Federal land</header><text>The term <term>Federal land</term> means the approximately 124.23 acres of Bureau of Land Management land in the State of Utah depicted as <quote>Proposed Conveyance Parcels</quote> on the Map.</text></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id86641524351d47db86f2140534854e9e"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Map</header><text>The term <quote>Map</quote> means the map prepared by the Bureau of Land Management entitled <quote>Land Conveyance near Price, Utah</quote> and dated May 8, 2025.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="H445C25A706F344FFB3FED0EEC4544D16"><enum>(4)</enum><header>Secretary</header><text>The term <term>Secretary</term> means the Secretary of the Interior, acting through the Director of the Bureau of Land Management.</text></paragraph></section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idcef919de1a5e4ecd90c53cbf153637b7" changed="deleted" reported-display-style="strikethrough" committee-id="SSEG00"><enum>3.</enum><header>Conveyance of certain Bureau of Land Management land to the city of Price, Utah</header><subsection id="idc3d751e7cf6c454696333dba610f376d"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Notwithstanding sections 202 and 203 of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/43/1712">43 U.S.C. 1712</external-xref>, 1713) and subject to valid existing rights, at the request of the City, the Secretary shall convey to the City all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the Federal land, to be used by the City for public purposes, as defined by the City.</text></subsection><subsection id="id751caf07925e4a38a5e8cda812b2a7b4" commented="no"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Map</header><paragraph id="id38ae6a22fdb5464bacce7e89f5cea66b" commented="no"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Availability</header><text>The Map shall be on file and available for public inspection in the appropriate offices of the Bureau of Land Management.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="idd0ae25e15f364f51af1808ffbedaf3d4" commented="no"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Minor errors</header><text>The Secretary may correct any minor errors in the Map.</text></paragraph></subsection></section></legis-body><legis-body display-enacting-clause="no-display-enacting-clause"><section id="idbf31501a-f488-4e65-9c0f-36e092856f1b" acres of Bureau of Land Management land in the State of Utah depicted as <quote>Proposed Conveyance Parcels</quote> on the Map.</text></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id31fabe7d-1b26-4c31-a0d4-8408583f3e2b"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Map</header><text>The term <quote>Map</quote> means the map prepared by the Bureau of Land Management entitled <quote>Land Conveyance near Price, Utah</quote> and dated May 8, 2025.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="ida22fc5f5-36cc-4f62-aecf-dfc8a44d0fbf"><enum>(4)</enum><header>Secretary</header><text>The term <term>Secretary</term> means the Secretary of the Interior, acting through the Director of the Bureau of Land Management.</text></paragraph></section><section id="idca5e0e4ba9114c489c13ab5f7437e376" changed="added" reported-display-style="italic" committee-id="SSEG00"><enum>3.</enum><header>Conveyance of certain bureau of land management land to the City of Price, Utah</header><subsection id="idd978f929227c4988b3a2e133f4aa96e1"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Notwithstanding sections 202 and 203 of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/43/1712">43 U.S.C. 1712</external-xref>, 1713) and subject to valid existing rights, at the request of the City, the Secretary shall convey to the City all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the Federal land, to be used by the City for public purposes, including—</text><paragraph id="id7a01dd4061284bdcb552d1bd0eebff33"><enum>(1)</enum><text>the construction of a reservoir and related infrastructure; and</text></paragraph><paragraph id="idf2da156540514f2bb535d4d8e8a3505c"><enum>(2)</enum><text>the development and expansion of infrastructure for public safety, transportation, or use of and access to the reservoir constructed under paragraph (1).</text></paragraph></subsection><subsection id="idaa882cd5e73b4a769f1343f6b824f39e"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Map</header><paragraph id="idb577d06799bb417b9ce2162e40e06fe3"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Availability</header><text>The Map shall be on file and available for public inspection in the appropriate offices of the Bureau of Land Management.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id10b858811008463387bfffce95c76291"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Minor errors</header><text>The Secretary may correct any minor errors in the Map.</text></paragraph></subsection><subsection id="id2a73c93a8a9d4c4cbc97e929afde4032"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Reversion</header><paragraph id="id56e2ee9bfe7d4ef8bf69bc0c96e1c27a"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In general</header><text>If the Secretary, after consultation with the State of Utah, determines that the Federal land conveyed under subsection (a) was used by the City for a use not authorized under that subsection, all right, title, and interest in and to the Federal land shall revert to the United States, at the discretion of the Secretary.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id2659624f3c5045bd93bcc655847e1fe9"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Requirements</header><text>Prior to a determination under paragraph (1), the Secretary shall—</text><subparagraph id="idfad0c342b5c4421580107d46e98da9a1"><enum>(A)</enum><text>notify the City of the noncomforming use;</text></subparagraph><subparagraph id="id859a71450b254dc0a3f25a558d306e53"><enum>(B)</enum><text>provide an opportunity for a hearing, at the request of the City;</text></subparagraph><subparagraph id="id4df30ba3a7d14f5e9ef4557f15d536f6"><enum>(C)</enum><text>provide public notice and an opportunity for public comment; and</text></subparagraph><subparagraph id="idaa88db2c2e214a7693f5791c8b3ce9b7"><enum>(D)</enum><text>provide the City a reasonable opportunity to correct any identified uses that could result in reversion of the title to the United States.</text></subparagraph></paragraph></subsection></section></legis-body><endorsement><action-date date="20260723">July 23, 2026</action-date><action-desc>Reported with an
