Ms. Cantwell (for herself, Mr. Wicker, Ms. Blunt Rochester, and Mr. Sullivan) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation

A BILL

To reauthorize the National Sea Grant College Program.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Authorization of appropriations for National Sea Grant College Program.

Section 212(a) of the National Sea Grant College Program Act (33 U.S.C. 1131(a)) is amended—

(1) in paragraph (1)—

(A) by striking “this title” and all that follows through “(E)” and inserting “this title”; and

(B) by striking “for fiscal year 2025” and inserting “for each of fiscal years 2025 through 2031”; and

(2) in paragraph (2)—

(A) in the paragraph heading, by striking “for fiscal years 2021 through 2025”; and

(B) in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), by striking “fiscal years 2021 through 2025” and inserting “fiscal years 2025 through 2031”.
