Mr. Ellzey submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on Homeland Security, and in addition to the Committees on the Judiciary, and Ways and Means, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned


RESOLUTION

Condemning the recent attacks on U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and U.S. Customs and Border Protection Law Enforcement personnel and facilities.

Resolved, That the House of Representatives—

(1) strongly condemns any act of violence against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and U.S. Customs and Border Protection personnel, facilities, and detainees;

(2) thanks the men and women of these agencies for their commitment to carrying out their vital mission and keeping our communities and Nation safe; and

(3) honors their courage and steadfast service as they stand on the front lines defending the United States and upholding the oath they swore to protect and serve.
