Mrs. Miller-Meeks (for herself, Ms. Budzinski, Mr. Amodei of Nevada, Ms. Houlahan, Mr. Fleischmann, Mr. Carter of Louisiana, Mr. Latta, Mr. Costa, Mrs. Kim, Ms. McClellan, Mr. Murphy, Mr. Panetta, Mr. Evans of Colorado, Mr. Swalwell, Mr. Carter of Georgia, Ms. DelBene, Mr. Joyce of Ohio, Mr. Sorensen, and Mr. Kean) submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce, and in addition to the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned


RESOLUTION

Supporting the designation of the week of September 15 through September 19, 2025, as “National Clean Energy Week”.

Resolved, That the House of Representatives—

(1) expresses support for the designation of “National Clean Energy Week”;

(2) encourages individuals and organizations across the United States to support commonsense solutions that address the economic, environmental, and energy needs of the United States in the 21st century;

(3) applauds the work of the Department of Energy National Laboratories in Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Tennessee, Hawaii, Alaska, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington DC, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York;

(4) encourages the Federal Government, States, municipalities, and individuals to invest in affordable, clean, and low-emitting energy technologies;

(5) supports reliable and affordable energy for Americans; and

(6) recognizes the role of entrepreneurs and small businesses in ensuring the energy leadership of the United States in the global marketplace and supporting low-cost, clean, and reliable energy in the United States.
