Mrs. Cammack (for herself, Ms. Craig, Mr. Thompson of Pennsylvania, Mr. Panetta, Mr. Bishop, Ms. Davids of Kansas, Ms. Pingree, Ms. Brown, Ms. Tokuda, Mr. Austin Scott of Georgia, Mr. Messmer, Mr. Nunn of Iowa, Ms. De La Cruz, Mr. Davis of North Carolina, Mr. Sorensen, Mr. Crawford, Mr. Riley of New York, and Mr. Moore of Alabama) submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on Agriculture


RESOLUTION

Designating March 27, 2025, as “National Women in Agriculture Day”.

Resolved, That the House of Representatives—

(1) recognizes the important role of women in agriculture as producers, educators, leaders, mentors, and more; and

(2) encourages all citizens to—

(A) recognize women working in agriculture; and

(B) praise the significant positive impact those women have on the food resources and the agricultural workforce of the United States by encouraging and empowering women to—

(i) enter the agricultural field, which is a high-demand field of work;

(ii) cultivate opportunities to lead; and

(iii) feed a hungry world.
