Ms. Houlahan (for herself, Ms. Goodlander, Mr. Ryan, Ms. Elfreth, Mr. Smith of Washington, Mr. Bishop, Ms. Norton, Mr. Menefee, Ms. Strickland, Mr. Mullin, Ms. Wasserman Schultz, Ms. Randall, Mr. Deluzio, Ms. Ansari, Ms. Budzinski, Ms. Pelosi, Mrs. Beatty, Mr. Carbajal, Mr. Carter of Louisiana, Ms. Barragán, Mr. Cisneros, Ms. Escobar, Mr. Davis of Illinois, Ms. Dean of Pennsylvania, Mr. Thompson of Mississippi, Mr. Moulton, Ms. Kaptur, Mr. Johnson of Georgia, Mr. Courtney, Ms. Clarke of New York, Mr. Stanton, Mrs. Grijalva, Ms. Leger Fernandez, and Ms. Garcia of Texas) submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on Armed Services, and in addition to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned


RESOLUTION

Commemorating 50 years of women at the service academies.

Resolved, That the House of Representatives—

(1) supports the designation of “50 Years of Women at the Service Academies Day”;

(2) commends the extraordinary service to the Nation of the women cadets and graduates of the United States Military Academy, the United States Naval Academy, the United States Air Force Academy, and the United States Coast Guard Academy; and

(3) honors past, present, and future women who serve in the United States Armed Forces.
