                        vessels operating as tourist accommodations, and for other

<section id="H1FF16D24B1D44B9E8D2E4082DF4CC6B7" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Imposition of taxes on vessels operating as tourist accommodations</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 4 of the Act of July 5, 1884 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/33/5">33 U.S.C. 5</external-xref>), is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="H2BA386CD2CB84CD8A15A01ACDE139AA0"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subsection (b)—</text> <subparagraph id="HBF7312C40477477B9D7411A5E5595926"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in paragraph (2)(C), by striking <quote>or</quote> at the end;</text></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="H25C1E3257EE74CB6A52B5F1EAFA83522"><enum>(B)</enum><text>in paragraph (3), by striking the period at the end and inserting <quote>; or</quote>; and</text></subparagraph> <subparagraph id="HA5E381FE863440918DCAB07C5D95AC28"><enum>(C)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following:</text>

<paragraph id="HF9AB5818E4B64EDEAE8A93AEA05B53C9"><enum>(4)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">taxes on vessels operating as cruise ships, or the passengers or crew of such vessels.</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>; and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subparagraph></paragraph> <paragraph id="H804E0AC963724A019C7E97A1A2E608B2"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following:</text>

<subsection id="H10990DB29C644815BC8D872F2C66CCA5"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Consent of Congress</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Any non-Federal interest may levy and collect any of the impositions in paragraphs (b)(1), (b)(2), (b)(3), and (b)(4) under clauses 2 and 3 of section 10, and under clause 3 of section 8, of Article 1 of the Constitution.</text></subsection> <subsection id="HF16D1EC9A58B4236B818A22333B8AECE"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Cruise ship defined</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In this section, the term <quote>cruise ship</quote> means any vessel that—</text> 
<paragraph id="H6FD2A403F66E45A8ABDD1640425FC8E0"><enum>(1)</enum><text>docks at any port in the United States; and</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H90F881BD06ED49CB8A578E5F37037E8D"><enum>(2)</enum><text>charges a fee for and provides an accommodation or living quarter on such vessel to transients.</text></paragraph></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block> </paragraph> </section>
