<section id="H759CEC2D4A0146B48413B283399A10E0" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Water Reservoir Transparency Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H9946C22195C641219AA1F55F1A665F0F"><enum>2.</enum><header>Study on commercial and industrial water use</header> <subsection id="HD8B67D7C90674289928FB84398DF2403"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text>The Secretary shall conduct a study on the ways in which the operation of new commercial and industrial water users affects the use of and water levels in reservoirs maintained by the Corps of Engineers.</text></subsection>
<subsection id="HA0F91B5CECFE47D78B83654AE1A9E35E"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Submission and publication</header><text>Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall—</text> <paragraph id="HAA39894591F549C6B2EF7F766B6E12A8"><enum>(1)</enum><text>submit to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Environment and Public Works of the Senate a report containing the results of the study conducted under subsection (a); and</text></paragraph>
<paragraph id="H20128365F1144089B9E6C7E5A34AD7C3"><enum>(2)</enum><text>make such study publicly available on a website of the Corps of Engineers.</text></paragraph></subsection> <subsection id="HBA20ADB936224D0FBAD599D631A2EACC"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Secretary defined</header><text>In this section, the term <term>Secretary</term> means the Secretary of the Army, acting through the Chief of Engineers.</text></subsection></section>
