<section id="HF87C20E5B07A41218BF52CF1F6B64FC3" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Clean Ports for Commerce Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H6EC3787FBA554955A4C75544AE363F4D"><enum>2.</enum><header>PFAS advanced planning for dredging</header> <subsection id="HDFBDB82C332B46C98553686A4C101DC3"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Requirement</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Prior to carrying out any dredging activities in an area with respect to which the Secretary has information indicating that the dredged materials will contain perfluoroalkyl or polyfluoroalkyl substances, the Secretary shall identify—</text> 
<paragraph id="HE34C31D0D9AA4F5F8052B3B918193AB1"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the disposal site for the dredged materials;</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H9EF7129D6ABE4CE3A815D1CFC9A2BD6F"><enum>(2)</enum><text>how the Secretary will mitigate the effects of the dredging activities on water quality and public health with respect to such substances; and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H7A6EDB408FF64504947D60EA643187E9"><enum>(3)</enum><text>any potential delays in carrying out the activities related to the presence of such substances.</text></paragraph></subsection> <subsection id="H39DBBF2F8BFD49AAB8C5A37D46E6614C"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Secretary defined</header><text>In this section, the term <term>Secretary</term> means the Secretary of the Army, acting through the Chief of Engineers.</text></subsection></section>
