<section id="H1111BB59298048C2864C69C02BC9BA74" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header>
 <text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>CDBG–DR Automated Assessment Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section>
<section id="HB378063DFF7B43A683FFE07D1598A0B5"><enum>2.</enum><header>Unmet needs assessment required</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (in this section referred to as the <quote>Secretary</quote>) shall not later than 60 days after the President declares a major disaster under the <quote>Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act</quote> and quarterly thereafter—</text> 
<paragraph id="HDC12BAEF1AB4430A8FC338C404C6DD24"><enum>(1)</enum><text>use Federal disaster and housing data available to the Secretary to—</text> <subparagraph id="HCFE64280CEEB47688162FBB8E1626668"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">evaluate damage to housing and infrastructure in the area impacted by the disaster; and</text></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="H3DC5347ED4A3470FAE60AE44C52D85A8"><enum>(B)</enum><text>identify shortages in affordable housing and broader economic recovery needs; and</text></subparagraph></paragraph> <paragraph id="H2FC063FD5EF341FE94F5EA8AF6F6060D"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">submit to the Congress a report about the analysis conducted under paragraph (1) that identifies any unmet needs in the area impacted by the disaster that could be addressed using amounts appropriated for Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery and other related Federal disaster programs.</text></paragraph></section>
