<section id="H09E9C20BCB6141C397D5AE96822E74F8" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Defense Industrial Base Advanced Manufacturing Enhancement Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="HE2EEB863FDC7463383A63FAE0064703B" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Report and implementation of plan for advanced manufacturing for certain critical readiness items of supply</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 1842 of the National Defense Authorization Act of Fiscal Year 2026 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/119/160">Public Law 119–160</external-xref>) is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="HA2F86462A7DE41699708B991CB88D373"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by inserting after subsection (b) the following new subsections:</text> <quoted-block style="OLC" id="HEEC9129E34FD4FAEABB8F90AF6E63EC5" display-inline="no-display-inline"> <subsection id="HC1D6EF022BCF4FDE86E9C8BAD157A088"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Report</header><text>Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this subsection, the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment shall submit the plan required by subsection (a) to—</text> 
<paragraph id="H0D91CD1F5A5B41958D287C3494097FFB"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the collaborative forum established under section 1844 of this Act (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/119/160">Public Law 119–160</external-xref>; <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/10/4811">10 U.S.C. 4811</external-xref> note);</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H56690A5A0C8E4E45BE52ED8B50B6569B"><enum>(2)</enum><text>the Defense Logistics Agency; and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HD47EABCA37A24135BDFC6B0AA4F2AD5F"><enum>(3)</enum><text>the congressional defense committees.</text></paragraph></subsection> <subsection id="H44F2E3365C2047C191DE7906435356B4"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Implementation</header> <paragraph id="H09EC6CAB470940F2B7B05AE026144A16"> <enum>(1)</enum> <header>Working group</header> <text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Following receipt of the plan described in paragraph (1), members of the collaborative forum established under such section 1844 shall establish a working group (or other appropriate organization) to implement such plan by developing or identifying advanced manufacturing solutions to increase the production of critical readiness items of supply identified under subsection (a)(1), where such solutions are likely to ensure the production of such items not later than 24 months after the date of the establishment of the working group.</text>
                        </paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HEFB35AC0CB9642FA8EE8CBDD001C3CBD"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Notation</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Not later than 60 days after receipt of the plan described in paragraph (1), the Director of the Defense Logistics Agency shall update the No Bid Solicitation List to include a notation for items that have been identified under subsection (a)(1) as critical readiness items of supply.</text></paragraph></subsection><after-quoted-block>; and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph> <paragraph id="H5A699BE0D0C94BF389FD2863F2734297"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subsection (e), by adding at the end the following new paragraphs:</text>

<paragraph id="HB13561655ED5431B9D27973BC039CDFD"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The term <term>No Bid Solicitation List</term> means the list maintained by the Defense Logistics Agency identifying solicitations that have received no bids or no responsive offers within required procurement timelines.</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="HA071EF01A7D84FF091E1FC3CDD9C7051"><enum>(4)</enum><text>The term <term>covered system</term> has the meaning given in section 4324 of title 10, United States Code.</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph></section>
