<section id="HF7926BD9B344462DB124AA925D7332EB" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Truck Stop Safety Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H710E55FC4A09441B986F0E705F67AFB2" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Public safety requirements for eligible projects</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 1401 of MAP–21 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/23/137">23 U.S.C. 137</external-xref> note) is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="H7A11827DD5F74F29B79F3E8D8EDDA559"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by redesignating subsection (e) as subsection (f); and</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H558EBC34D90A47AB83D5B889F030DD83"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by inserting after subsection (d) the following:</text>

<subsection id="H183800F449724AFCB4FCF7ABACD21850"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Public safety requirements for eligible projects</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">An entity carrying out a project to construct, reopen, or improve facilities under this section shall ensure that—</text> <paragraph id="HB2A27B0590CA4BD1AA7DC95025DE3396"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">a notice containing information about human trafficking and resources to prevent and report human trafficking is prominently displayed in such facility, including the National Human Trafficking Hotline, a clear definition of human trafficking, and warning signs of human trafficking; and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H9A2C563532214A3B9F7F071890DB3BD0"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">a notice containing information about suicide prevention is prominently displayed in such facility, including information on the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline that explains any call, text, or chat to 988 is free, confidential, and available 24/7.</text></paragraph></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph></section> </legis-body></bill>
