<section id="H698DA1AD24814598A2A5BE108E3B7FA6" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header>
 <text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Federal Agents Secure Travel Act</short-title></quote> or the <quote><short-title>FAST Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> 
<section id="H567D14B3A8E245028B22F379933B97C1"><enum>2.</enum><header>Eligibility for Federal law enforcement officers for certain expedited security screening</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 44919 of title 49, United States Code is amended—</text> <paragraph id="H43F9797E7F7142E1927636BE695E8D42"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by redesignating subsections (j), (k), and (l) as subsections (k), (l), and (m), respectively; and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H1B473194437E4A36B222A7D82C171156"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by inserting after subsection (i) the following new subsection:</text> <quoted-block style="OLC" id="H6893305C1B154DA3925298D81880267C" display-inline="no-display-inline"> <subsection id="H3D9EC914585D4C48AE471B716A1AC35D"><enum>(j)</enum><header>Eligibility of Federal law enforcement officers for expedited security screening</header> <paragraph id="H59C0F52238F8463E9059E0E0D95CB65C"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Subject to paragraph (3), an individual specified in paragraph (2) is eligible for expedited security screening under the PreCheck Program at no cost to such individual.</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HDD1EA0B4E2A04E38AB79A0E2F3CB5A90"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Individuals specified</header><text>An individual specified in this subsection is any of the following:</text> <subparagraph id="HDD6003EB937C4593AD1B80C62C3D8964" commented="no"><enum>(A)</enum><text>A Federal law enforcement officer.</text></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="H355743CAE36A4805BA93881BEB16A777"><enum>(B)</enum><text>A family member of an individual specified in subparagraph (A) who is younger than 12 years old and accompanying the individual.</text></subparagraph></paragraph> <paragraph id="H320026D196C444DE956AFD677B2F0748" commented="no"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Implementation</header><text>The eligibility of an individual specified in paragraph (2) for expedited security screening under the PreCheck Program is subject to such policies and procedures as the Administrator may prescribe to carry out this subsection.</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HF330B14040184113B2C7BA4DC4FCBC28"><enum>(4)</enum><header>Definition</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In this subsection, the term <quote>Federal law enforcement officer</quote> has the meaning given such term in section 2 of the Law Enforcement Congressional Badge of Bravery Act of 2008 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/34/50301">34 U.S.C. 50301</external-xref>).</text></paragraph></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block> </paragraph></section> </legis-body></bill>
