<section id="H2DEC665A3F0A472097CB58154C626734" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>In God We Trust Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H69F496DF14DF4504B0FB1D1D90113105"><enum>2.</enum><header>Display of national motto on Federal buildings</header> <subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H6B6509642C2947798A33824FF0B85C55"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Definition of public building</header><text>In this section, the term <term>public building</term> has the meaning given the term in section 3301(a) of title 40, United States Code.</text></subsection> 
<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H4B4B1EFC40D744C1A7EA522AE1B014FC"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Requirement</header><text>Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Administrator of General Services shall inscribe or display in a place of prominence on every public building the national motto of the United States, as described in section 302 of title 36, United States Code.</text></subsection></section> </legis-body></bill>
