Short title

This Act may be cited as the Photographing Incarcerated Criminals To Update Records and Evidence Act or the PICTURE Act.

Photographic directory of Federal prisoners

(a)

In general

Chapter 301 of title 18, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following:

4015.

Photographic directory of Federal prisoners

The Director of the Bureau of Prisons shall maintain a photographic directory that includes a photograph of each prisoner in the custody of the Bureau of Prisons, with an uncovered and unobstructed view of the face of the prisoner.
