<section id="H7B59D5FAD1894DD5AC2794BE009C5BA1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Transmission of opioid prescription history to Community Care provider</header> 
<subsection id="HA9972C8BA91B49A98B38B077822615D6"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 1703C of title 38, United States Code, is amended, in subsection (a), by adding at the end the following new paragraph:</text> <quoted-block style="USC" id="H5F00708597BC42FF8986ACD8EB542910" display-inline="no-display-inline"> <paragraph id="H72EDCDC82A33475B999FF80B322D5BAB" indent="up1"><enum>(8)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The standards established under this subsection shall require the Secretary to transmit a history of opioid prescriptions contained in records of the Department regarding a covered veteran—</text> 
<subparagraph id="H057FBC4BADA6414CBDCE9379B9EA0411"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">to a non-Department health care provider through whom the Secretary furnishes health care, pursuant to section 1703 of this title, to such covered veteran; and</text></subparagraph> <subparagraph id="HCA5C7636F4B349AE8A91490BE29E8B80"><enum>(B)</enum><text>through a Third Party Administrator.</text></subparagraph></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block> </subsection> 
<subsection id="HEA9B46C6DDE846159CC5656F72CC1FD5"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Definitions</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Such section is further amended, in subsection (c), by adding at the end the following new paragraphs:</text> <quoted-block style="USC" id="HDB6FCF281A8744C69B01E131FC36AF81" display-inline="no-display-inline"> <paragraph id="HAE955D24D6884A52B8BDF1555FA076F7"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The term <quote>Third Party Administrator</quote> has the meaning given such term in section 1703B of this title.</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subsection></section>
