<section id="HBAC5B7C075714F5FB4377B81A918F20D" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Geese House Site Conveyance Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H06FCC37FBC874A9CBBA4DBE0F1A78CA0"><enum>2.</enum><header>Geese House conveyance</header> <subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H10F4AD2B194349ACB4D62B103380E8BE"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Conveyance</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">As soon as practicable, but not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, subject to valid existing rights, the Secretary of the Interior shall convey to Doyon, Limited all right, title, and interest in and to the Federal land described in subsection (b).</text></subsection>
<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HDB06199684C54BA1B5ACC1A9F8C97C65"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Description of land</header>
<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H22A1F9B2FEBF4987997EE35FE696343A"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Federal land referred to in subsection (a) is the Federal land selected by Doyon, Limited on September 18, 1978, comprising approximately 21,578 acres in the preserve area of Denali National Park and Preserve, and more particularly described as sections 1 to 36, inclusive, T. 11, S. R. 20 W., Fairbanks Meridian, Alaska, listed under Bureau of Land Management Mineral and Land Records System Serial Numbers AKAK106451023, AKAK106451025, AKAK106451027, and AKAK106451029 (Legacy Serial Numbers F–40216, F–40217, F–40218, and F–40219), as generally depicted on the map entitled <quote>Geese House Site Conveyance Act</quote> and dated April 14, 2026.</text></paragraph> <paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HF297485331DC4667BC48D2FCE36AE97E"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Excluded land</header><text>The Federal land described in paragraph (1) excludes lots 1 and 2 within sections 31 and 32, and land underlying Chilchukabena Lake and an unnamed lake, within T. 11, S. R. 20 W., Fairbanks Meridian, Alaska, in the survey prepared by the Bureau of Land Management entitled <quote>U.S. Survey No. 12799, Alaska</quote> and dated July 24, 2002.</text></paragraph></subsection>
<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H335A153F3F9444BD8D0034869DDAB8AA"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Easements</header><text>In carrying out subsection (a), the Secretary of the Interior shall reserve public easements required under section 17(b) of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/43/1616">43 U.S.C. 1616(b)</external-xref>).</text></subsection> <subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H226158473A6049B68A9B7B90C94AD549"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Limitations</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Notwithstanding any other provision of law, with respect to Federal land conveyed pursuant to this section, Doyon, Limited may not—</text>
<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H427F45472D534B95914A902671CE64D1"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">alienate or transfer the conveyed land to any person or entity other than the United States;</text></paragraph> <paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H23574849C43C48D6B095AF38D8ECB768"><enum>(2)</enum><text>authorize mining or mineral activities of any type on that conveyed land; or</text></paragraph>
<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HEBFD72A1619B4DB887EE541142D6A85B"><enum>(3)</enum><text>permit development of the conveyed land for any use that would derogate the cultural value or significance of the Geese House.</text></paragraph></subsection> <subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H4B83F84B01CE4EB5A5E39B92ECC8BE22"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Treatment of conveyed Federal land</header><text>Except as otherwise provided in this Act, any Federal land conveyed to Doyon, Limited pursuant to this section shall be considered Federal land conveyed by the Secretary of the Interior under section 14(h)(8) of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/43/1613">43 U.S.C. 1613(h)(8)</external-xref>).</text></subsection>
<subsection id="H6B340373FE9249A0B03ECD83E1ABB606"><enum>(f)</enum><header>Boundary adjustment</header><text>The Secretary of the Interior shall adjust the boundary of the Denali National Park and Preserve —</text> <paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H3C0E9103AD874BC8BA674ED7EB16E327"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">to exclude the Federal land conveyed pursuant to this section; and</text></paragraph>
<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H1AAF0195BD96401D9414B4D2B1FF6BEC"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">to the extent practicable, to match the boundary described as the <quote>Denali National Park Preserve Boundary (Proposed)</quote>, as generally depicted on the map entitled <quote>Geese House Site Conveyance Act</quote> and dated April 14, 2026.</text></paragraph></subsection></section> <section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HDEA70F4A9E6347F59365369D908CBE6A"><enum>3.</enum><header>Miscellaneous</header> <subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HB0D38A6EF2B64A97A117DB33D087A1AD"><enum>(a)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Applicable law</header><text>The conveyance authorized under section 2(a) is not subject to—</text>
<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H0256B329395F4F9E85ADF0368156510F"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the requirements of part 2650 of title 43, Code of Federal Regulations (or successor regulations); or</text></paragraph> <paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H51A4FC1F06E84526853DE0A45FF55796"><enum>(2)</enum><text>any past or existing withdrawal that may apply to the conveyed Federal land.</text></paragraph></subsection>
<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H10A19F6C203E48E180889AB047D35AD5"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Survey</header><text>The Secretary of the Interior, with written approval of Doyon, Limited, may make minor corrections to the survey and legal description of the Federal land described in section 2(b) to correct clerical, typographical, and surveying errors.</text></subsection></section> </legis-body></bill>
